Earlene, a guy down the other end of the campground we are in has a fold up boat. He was extolling its virtues to a couple of us who were looking at it stored on the side of his truck. As we were walking away his wife said; "Don't listen to him about that boat, it's never been in the water."
I think you would concur, n'est ce pas?

Say Tim, where's your Arkie ingenuity gone? Remember the BBQ grill made out of a shopping cart and the beer cooler in the toilet????
Edit: When I suggested the sand I was just shooting from the hip. I had no idea it would actually work. Now that I've ketchedup, I can see Tim's point. He won’t have to borrow a friend's bender, he just has to get the friend to demonstrate on the pipe he needs bent. That sounds pretty Arkie to me.

I rest my case!
Actually I have four bends to make, two on long pieces and two on short pieces. Not having sand I used Quick drie that I keep in shop to soak up oil drippings. Filled tube and bent a little with hydraulic press, held it up to check the bend then bent a little more. Took several tries but got er done! The larger bends will need to look good so I'll let my buddy show me hoe to do those!
100% chance of rain tomorrow, he most likely be home and ready to get out in his shop to tinker!

How terrible. He has a wife like mine! Or, maybe that's a good thing.
I had to throw that last part in there in case SHE is reading.

I'm sure all of Arkansas is proud of you for doing it the Arkie way, at least some of it.
Tinker? Or hide from your DWs?

Figures don't it. Most of the Mutants have left for parts unknown and we find a decent restaurant in Quartzsite.

Dave, you should have stayed here in Yuma. Clear skies, mostly dry and 46 degrees right now going to 60-something Saturday.
Moose (and Barb & Bev if you're still there) - we're still close enough to come up for a meal at that decent restaurant...

Nothing like steaks for breakfast!
Good news, here is hoping everything goes smooth and square! Back here it's rain, rain, rain and oh yeah, rain!

Wonderful & about time, too, eh? You get to stay there now, to supervise, & nobody can object? Sheesh! I do hope the neighbors all turn into lovely people & great friends. If anyone can turn them, you will, just by being your sweet mutant selves. Except maybe Larry. Keep an eagle eye on that one!
Cheers!
