Hey! Y'all do know that an ohm is a unit of electrical resistance, don't you?

An om, otoh, is an expression of connection w/ the universe, by which individuals send energy (healing & concern, mostly) to others. It represents prayers, but avoids the strictly religious terminology.

Not a lecture, although gratuities are always welcome. There will be a box at the door.

Right you are Sue. When I first became a Mutant, I assumed it was a combination of the two you referenced above......ohm electrical & om meditation. Then I added the "turbo" to the mix.

Like the turbo! There are all sorts of variations, depending on need ... mechanical included.

pneumonia update

Thanx to all that sent ohms my way for a recovery from this da#n pneumonia.

I got home around noon today. 2 1/2 days of temperatures, blood tests, finger picks, blood pressure cuffs, stethoscope listening, infusions, pills, coughing, hacking, and spitting up delightful goo out of my lungs. 24 hours a day they came at me. Out of the darkness of night a figure would appear to tell me "time for your vitals", " time for a sugar test", "time for your pill", etc. But lucky for me they we the greatest group of professionals that I have encountered inside the walls of a hospital.

I still cough a lot and not as peppy as usual, but my lungs have cleared substantially. Good health is on the horizon.

Now it's 24 hours a day of meds and sucking on a nebulizer, I am feeling better but if only I could shake these da#n aggravating coughing spells.

Thanx again fellow muties.
