Just went to reboot and now Windows is installing 134 more updates. If it messes me up, maybe the restore points will save me and I can turn off updates.

Sent from my laptop.

So ponder this.... How is the second set 'free' if you have to PAY a separate shipping and handling? Remember when 'FREE' really was free and yu didn't have to pay for it?

RV Mutantism is based on very minimal requirements. And that...is...simply...it!
I like to think that RVMs are as ground breaking, unique and inspired as what was inside a cardboard sleeve featuring this design.

That was one catchy little collection of ditties. Just as we are one curious collection of happy mutants.

She's also terrified of big black dogs, as are most capuchins. My theory on that is that the black panther is a major preditor in the Amazon Rain forest. Oh, and the vacuum cleaner hose is an Anaconda that she tries to kill whenever it comes out of it's cabinet.

The hot water is because her body temp is 2-3 degrees higher than ours and what's warm to me is chilly for her.
Can't wait to meet her. She sounds like she has it skill under control.

Oh..Can't wait to meet you too..

`Bout ready to throw the old Deskjet in the dumpster. Scan seems to be working fine now after ~270 MS updates.

I still get this intermittent pop up of this:

"Scan to the computer no longer activated"
"The network connection to the printer has been lost"

It has never scanned to the desktop before, even with the USB cable connected. The only thing different is that Win 7 did 143 upgrades. Maybe it loaded some new drivers.

I'm going to re-boot and see if it still works. Gotta reboot sometime. Wish me luck.

BTW, I can scan to/from and two my laptops. It's not that I scan that often, but I paid for that ability.

Maybe I don't need a new computer to read about mutants and send or receive email and do research.

I now can't print to my older reliable Deskjet 895Cse. I've used and re-used a lot of paper testing this thing.
Well printer driver changed dramatically between XP and Win7. A lot of the drivers had to be redone. HP told me they were no longer going to support my faithful 4550 Photo printer for win7. You may have pick need up an updated driver that worked with the new install.

Wow! Nine months to rett the moss before it can even be spun? That beats the time it takes for flax to be retted for linen!

Now, you know I'm going to have to try this, you wicked woman, you! Look what you've started. DH will kill me first, and then you! Retting fibers is a stinky business, I understand, since another word for it might be "rotting", as in rotting away the outer tissues.

Oh the things I have to do for professional curiosity, never mind the mutant variety.

BTW, thanks for the link!

Cheers!
Sue

Do you want to pay me now or later....Oh wait, did I fix it? Probably not.

I have always had all my computers set to automatically update and i have not had any problems. Any problems I created when I check the restore point it was always there before an update. It is supposed to do that, set a restore point before any system changes.

Steve,
Were you talking about Dickinson Bayou? Oyster Island off April Fool Point?

April Fool Point is in San Leon, TX. There is an April Fool Point Marina and there is an RV park run by the Marina. Not anything spectacular, but it's there.
