Strangely enough I heard about the deer hunter death before it hit the news. Man at our deer camp was talking to his surveyor about trying to set up an appointment to meet him on his property. Surveyor told my friend that he was unsure of how soon he could do the work, his best friend was just killed by a attacking deer. Same man in the news report.
My friend was also the guy that was with his SIL on the hog hunt where there friend was attacked by the hog.

All I was attacked by was a sun dried plastic chair! This hunting business is not for sissies!

It sounds like the hunted in Arkansas are getting revenge. Be careful out there!

Next 'campfire' I will regale you with a moose hunting story that caused a rather scary incident for me and my Father In Law way back when. BTW different Moose in the story.

Nope Duece, those went immediately into the fire!

Those chairs go up like a jet engine! It's been suggested in the past that instead of cutting firewood we just have everyone bring a chair to burn.

Either there’s something big happening with Border Patrol or the Marines are doing night training. Helicopters have been flying over since sunset. I’m locked up tight, just in case.

Hi Di. Steve has surgery today at St Joseph hospital in Riverview. His upper hernia flared up again last night same as it did in September. It was a difficult surgery and they did as much as they could for now. Can you put this on the forum. I really donít want to post it on Facebook. Let people know they can text or message me but not FB. He is in ICU tonight with a vent that they will wean him off of tomorrow. This is his 2nd surgery and 4th hospitalization this year. Geeeezzz

END QUOTE.

Passed a convoy on my way back here, and they turned onto the main street, heading north, then at the old highway, west....

The fumes from plastic contains toxic chemicals so next time do something different. Think of a brand of Duck Tape.

Don't want you to get any higher on that different type of smoke.
