R U an RV Mutant too?
This is Papaw Steve update,
They took the chest tube out this morning. Minimal fluid left in the chest. Lungs sound better. Surgeon doesn’t need to see him any more while in the hospital. It will be up to his lung and kidney doctors to determine when he can go home. He gets to have regular food for lunch. He’s very alert and talking better today also. PT should be in soon and they will have him walk today since he doesn’t have so many tubes.
He had a great day today. Walked down the hall (~50’) twice. He is transferring from bed and chair pretty well. Will probably get the catheter out tomorrow.
Prayers for Ray and Janice and all of our mutant framily....
Di

Papaw Steve update... just now
He just got upgraded to a new room in PCU (Progressive Care Unit). All tubes and monitors have been removed except for a portable heart monitor. This will make his PT much easier to do.
He’s feeling pretty good. He has some soreness on his left side from surgery. His color is good and he’s starting to read some of his emails on his phone.
All good right now! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.
