Beware of cortisone shots. I had them in my back and gained 50# and that was after having gastric bypass surgery. I also had Synvisc shots in my knees. The first ones kept me comfortable for 9 months. The last set only 3 weeks. It works with the knee's cartilage. When it quit working so soon I knew it was time replacement surgery. Itís made from roosters combs.
