Read it again, Wayne! I said your smell made the sheets inviting to Lexi. She just wants to be close to you and anything that smells like you is better than the cold hard floor.

Can you imagine all the stuff that dogs can smell? And yet they still want to be near us.

Well we made it to Florida and yes bokobird it rained all the way from the Georgia border to our destination. Which is just south of Sun City center. But turned into a beautiful day upon arrival. I had to laugh at the picture of the puppy in the warm clothes basket. In my Police days we once had a missing 3 year old and a frantic mother. We had cops all over the neighborhood searching. The mother mentioned she was just washing and drying clothes and he disappeared well you guessed it one of the officers looked into the large clothes basket. The little rascal had crawled into the warm clothes and covered up and fell asleep.

What happens when son next door 1) sells his house, 2) wife (DIL) gets sick 3) and he's trying to pack.

Answer, send 3yo and 3 month old to Mimi's and Grampa 's house. Mimi kept the 3yo girl busy all day while I had the 3 MO boy. If you keep him feed he'll set with you through all the NFL games. I was told we both napped about the same time.

Ah, I was just reading between the lines.

Well, it's been told that they can determine a lot of history about the dog who left the pile, like male or female, if a female is it in heat, how well it is, what it eats, and a lot of other information. Most of the times it is from sniffing the other dogs butt, however the doodoo can render the same. Actually when they sniff a dogs butt the don't smell the doodoo, just the glands that give all the information.

Now cat poo is another story. Dogs love to eat cat poo. Cat food is full of protein. So much that a cat cannot digest it all so it comes out in the poo. The dogs love the protein - so eat.

Just my lesson for the day.

Did I mention my BF here in TC is a veterinarian.

I'll wager that the boy in the clothing basket has been a talk at the table for years, if not a life time. Funny (after the fact.)

After posting the above I decided to do a little "searching," and found TMI on dog sniffing, and other aspects of dogs. Thought all y'all that have dogs would enjoy the read.

Oh for those that don't Facebook AND think Earlene is always sweet, let me tell you about a post she made about Arkansas. She posted a pic implying Arkansas dogs have hillbilly teeth. Both myself and my dog were terribly upset by her implications. BUT to let her know I still love her I sent back a compliment. I ask if her and their new curly haired pup, Lexi, used the same hair dresser.

Now Tim, I only know 3 families from Arkansas that have members here, so I have to go by what I have seen. Now two of them I have never been close to their mouths, nor do I want to. Probably smells like potty mouth. The other has posted those famous Arkie pictures of tooth-less-ness.

So, to let the others that do not post to FB know what we are talking about, and in all fairness to Earlene I submit the below picture.

Oh, and Earlene replied to you on FB, something about you being careful if you are down-range!
