RVM10 - looked into this. See now that it's a book - and could not locate actual finger / claw picking by PH - but did find the cover art. Pretty cool.

I have one - but it came with it. But it wasn't on the list of must haves - just was.

Ok RVM10. I just cruised through the forum Banjo Hangout and see that the book is out of print and anyone who has one won't let it out of their sight. So it falls on you to share the Gestalt of RVMs by way of banjo analogy. I'm actually kind of bummed - but have something to watch for so yin is yanged.

Yes its a good thing this thread didn't start last year when it was only 12.
Also, are you a RV mutant if you watch Duck Dynasty?

Thar R rots of tings I don't have. No roof top AC, no TPMS, no tile floors. A scratched up basement door I will not get fixed. no door handle lights, and I don't miss any of them. (I do have basement air though)

Nope, no holes in the computer, but the next time I load the Xd.40 there may be some extra breathin' space for the little people in the computer. I'll try not to hit anyone.

Don't know much about banjos, but I would also nominate the Traveling Wilburys as RVM-type musicians. Anybody familiar with them?

A lineup fit for Kings and RVM alike. How can ya go wrong with Roy Orbison - Tom Petty - Bob Dylan and the rest. A superband and great tunes. Way astray from what others were doing or they had done - they get my vote.

Well, you ALMOST got the joke. Untie is a dyslexic version of Unite.... we are mutants after all... So UNTIE seemed appropriate to me.

I'm with you on that.
They didn't make enough music together to satisfy my hunger for it.
Sadly, 2 of them have passed on.
