Ok, Dennis is out, no one say anything ( make any post) for the next few days!

NOT!

I predict 8 pages by the time he post again!

Please enjoy yourselves and each other.

Merry Christmas, Happy Solitice, Celebrate Festivus, Happy Chanukah or whatever else you celebrate.

Hoping RVM#0 is good to you!

Happy New Year from the gang at our house.
Right back at ya Dennis. We'll miss your wit and and wisdom! Enjoy your family time and the holiday cheer. We'll leave a light on for ya. Rope light or other - but no scare lights.

Be safe!

I clean up pretty nice! It is hard to find a dress to fit just right, and those thongs, well that is another story. Just kidding.
The rest of the story is "and when Mary goes home everyone jumps for Joy."

Only 8 pages? Do you get 10 posts per page? If so I'm betting you are way off! This group can do 80 posts or more in a day. I'm betting 250 posts before Possum checks back in.

We have finally landed at Alamo (not THE Alamo for Herb's benefit) TX. It is a nice place so far but we really got bit hard by traveling more in the last few weeks then we will for the next few months. Ahhh...bit it was still a good choice for us since we need time for our retirement stuff to settle out and we ponder on all the lessens the last few weeks have brought us. At first blush we learned:

1. The RV goes where we tell it to go.
2. We don't have to go where we thought we would go.
3. We don't know what day of the week it is and for the most part...it doesn't matter.
4. TX has some very fast farm roads. LOL

Since I retired last summer, the only reason to know the day of the week, is so we don't shop on weekends. Too many people in the stores, and we don't need to fight the crowds anymore.
The part about not knowing how long to stay in any given location, is easy to get used to. Unless your spot is reserved by another camper, flexibility in the journey on the rainbow is a wonderful way to live. Also we don't have to drive on Sundays, just wait a day and the traffic is much lighter.
