Sorry about that, I did mean RVM #0. And I wasn't even in the eggnog last night. Just tired I guess. Thanks for the correction, Dunner.

May Christmas bring Good Cheer to all. And the stress of life be diminished for this one day.

'Twas the the night before Christmas,
All was quiet in the house.
The cats were now sleeping,
Cause we don't have a mouse.
The ornaments were hung
On the Pine tree with care
As if by some miracle
Martha Stuart was there.
The two of us were sleeping
Me in the chair, her in bed
By the sound of my snoring
You'd know I'm not dead.
When all of a sudden
Something whooshed
And then Crashed.
I near went through the roof
As each ornament smashed.
I looked to the place
That our tree had once stood
It now laid in pieces
On our floor made of wood.
I cried out to Bonnie
"Come quick I need you"
In a flash she retorted
"What the hell did you do"?
"I didn't do nothing"!
"All your ornaments were too large"
"And as for you overloading the tree,
I think guilty is the charge"!
So without any delay,
I arrived with broom and pan
And swept up the glass
And then put it in the can.
I stood up the tree,
And assessed what transpired
It would require "My Martha"
So to bed I retired.
This was another little thing I wrote to my wife on a Christmas past. She was forever setting up the tree in the corner and then decorating it so all our ornaments were on the front half of the tree making it front heavy. And of course, one night I fell asleep in the chair and the tree came crashing down. I'm sure I crapped my pants as it scared the bejeebers out of me when it happened.
Merry Christmas to All!

Received a Contact Us message at www.rvmutants.com this morning from RVM0. With his journey complete he decided to boondock a few days somewhere in southern Az. You wintering mutants down that way should keep an eye out for him. He knows where you are and may stop in so have the bacon handy.

Hey Les - do you hold the patent on the corner half round artificial tree? Have ya started work on a natural mutated half round Douglas Fir? Necessity is mutant of mutation!
Great poem documenting a memorable Christmas moment! May this years memories be without broken glass and soiled garments. Hope RVM0 was kind to you and all mutants.
Annie has the table set in our transition to rainbow apartment - dinner is at 3 Mutant Standard Time.

Funny you should mention Santa!
Breakfast is finished and RVM0 and I are heading for the hot tub. Nola and Mrs. Claus are jabbering and comparing crochette patterns.
Santa has followed our thread since last summer, and was so pleased with the declaration of his RVM status that he immediately texted me to thank all of the RVMs. So, I invited him to our resort for an unwind session. I figured it was the least I could do.
No, no pics. Santa is among us all year, you know, making a list and checking it. I must honor his need for anonymity.
But, I am passing a hearty Ho-Ho-Ho from him to all of you. He also said, "Tell those sick twisted Mutants I'm always watching". And he hinted of a fly-by of the GC.
PS: he has no rope lights on his sleigh/RV.

I'm sure I spotted rope lights on the reindeer harnesses as Santa whipped by here last night. (I was up late.) Multicolored. Chase. How appropriate!
While in my natal one-child home we hung stockings by the fireplace with care, in DH and his first wife's English home, there was, instead, a "Santa drop". In his haste, the jolly man always dropped a few things on their daughter's bed. She found them in the morning and would be happily occupied for a while, thus allowing a bit more of a lie-in for her parents.
I often slept on the floor in front of the fireplace Christmas Eve, watching the fire die down and willing sleep to come. Imagine a parent tiptoeing across an old creaky floor to remove my empty stocking and then returning with it filled and hanging it up...w/o waking a sleeping child. Good trick, and they always managed it.
Cheers to one and all. Raising a glass of eggnog to the mutant way, life on the rainbow, and all my mutant friends and their loved ones. That's a lot. Better have another glass!
Sue

Beautiful table, Annie! Sorry, we can't make 3:00...our dinner starts at 2:00 and our local friend who is spouseless for a couple of weeks is to join us. We will be with you in spirit, though, helping you snarf up all the 'licious gourmet treats to be served up. Oh, no snarfing? Manners? Oh. K.
Cheers!
Sue

Hey Don - I know you have a special box for wine - we're going with '09 BV Tapestry this year. It is one of my favorite blends! Come on down.

Hey! I could be a bell ringer. Just a money bucket. No bell required.
