I've been reading the Keurig instructions. Do you really have to be a rocket scientist to operate one of these things?

Color me old fashioned.
I like coffee. Just coffee. Scandanavian style. No flavors. Plain. Very dark; cannot see the bottom of the cup dark. Near bitter. Sometimes from very oily whole beans. Strong enough to float an iron wedge (look it up).
And a pot at a time!
But, if youse guys like K-cups (et al), thats just fine.
K?

Kcups are great for variety, i also like dark roast, espresso, and New Orleans Chicory..... But since DH likes his very plain. I use keurig to supplement..... Lol, besides, one of my sons bought it for me as a gift, and it even had a carry bag...
Mike, just put the kcup in, pour the water in, push brew... It wont work unless it has a cup under it....

Yeah, I keep forgetting where I keep my score card. Frustrating!
Um...and your name is? Diane, right?
Point here is that some of us are iRV2 supporters and have our names in our signatures. If you are not one, how about a name in your post?
Just sayin.

Thanks. Reading the `structions, you have to wait till the blue light is on or something like that. Does your own coffee taste better than from a Mr Coffee? She may find it too complicated and not use it.

Keurig, Bunn, Mr.Coffee, we have had about any/all kinds of coffee makers. Our current favorite is the Cuisinart that makes a pot but holds it inside then you just dispense one cup at a time. If it sits for a couple hours the coffee still tastes fresh, not burnt. Then we also have a Keurig, which is great for that one cup. And we have plenty of variety, for all the ways to make coffee.
You know they have said that drinking coffee helps clean alcohol from your liver.

Just really fast for making one cup..... Not any difference in flavor to me....
Judy, i also have the cuisinart, as well as an espresso machine that just gathers dust, and a small mr coffee.... But do take keurig just about anywhere i go, for convenience.....
But I LOVE ALL coffee.........

I did more than scan the instructions. Usually when I get something new, I just about memorize the book. Not so lately. Haven't read the pdf on my new DVR or HP All-In-One printer.
Gotta figure this thing out as I know my GF won't read the instructions. We'll fire it up tomorrow to see how it works. She usually makes a whole pot and re-fills her cup during the day. This may have been a big mistake. She did show interest when we saw one at Sam's Club.
