So sorry to hear of your loss. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

Judy we are so sorry for your loss. One is bad enough but I can't even imagine the pain of losing two at the same time. Safe travels no matter which way you decide to go. If it were me I would drop the 5er and make better time. At times like these I know how just being with family allows you to help each other through this ordeal. Many prayers to you and your family from your extended mutant family.

Marty, is that a laptop. If you have it on your lap it will block the fan input and cause it to overheat and shut down. It should come back on after it cools down - unless it really fried something.

I use a food tray turned upside down and on my lap (what little I have left) It keeps the bottom of the laptop flat and the air free flowing like it should. I have never had a problem since doing that.

Judy...

The loss of 2 siblings is hard to comprehend. Sandee and I will hold you in our thoughts.

Travel in a manner that helps you feel comfortable. In a perfect world you might prefer to take your "home" with you for the comfort it can provide but that may not be possible. The Rockford 10 day forecast looks...horrible. Temps extremely cold with one and off chances for snow. That might be a recipe for frustration in being comfortable.

Regardless of your choice of travel...be safe and we wish you find peace in theses trying times.

Truely a troubling time for you, Judy. I am so very sorry! I trust that you will make a decision that fits the situation. I suggest that you kick back a while and take a bit of time to decide.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you! Dave

Judy we are so sorry for your loss.
This time of year always it seem more painful.
You and your family are in our prayers.

Hope the other ill mutants are on the road to recovery.
It seems that there is a lot of illness everywhere.

We had a quiet Christmas here, just the two of us.
Several phone calls from children, grandchildren and great grandchild in other states.

We decided that we would not do Christmas gifts between the two of us this year, instead we would reflect on just how blessed we really are.

Somehow it was one of the best Christmas Days ever.

Today is our 26th Anniversary.
Best decision I ever made.

We hope all will stay safe and warm.

Happy Mutant Holidays.

Oh just to let you all know, I did find out what was going on with my PC and now it seems to be working as it should and I have the ability to hit the keys proper with these big ole fingers. it seems the the updates have finally completed and now everything just zips along as its supposed to, when we had free wifi, it wasnt a problem to let the updates just happen. Well now on my jetpack, the updates are a huge hog of data, oh well ya pay it one way or another.

Cheers !!!

Judy, you and your family are in our prayers. Words are inadequate, but I'm sorry your family is suffering.

Mutants, I am lost. How do I log onto the mutant yahoo account? I don't have a yahoo account. Do I need one?
