Judy, for thunderstorm and fireworks anxiety Thundershirts work great! Just make sure it's on really snug. I got Lily over car sickness.

No sleet but a fine drizzle and ice forming.

How would any dog know to lick earwax? Sadie has always done this. At first, she didn't know she was supposed to like her ear canals being massaged, now she likes it and turns her head as I do it.

The news lead in was a little alarming. Then in full coverage was less so. Still - moisture and cold - after the last go around is, well

Thanks for the update!

My experience is that dogs smell everything -- can you imagine having a sense of smell 1,000 times better?? And they taste most of what they don't dislike the smell of. You never know what tastes good until you try it, right?

Poor Lily, being raised by a monkey would sniff other dogs butts, but didn't understand she was supposed to let them sniff hers in return. According to Cesar Milan, that's dog etiquette. I used to have to hold her still until she caught on. She gets it now.

Sadie will approach another dog, but if they make any sudden moves or turn towards her, she high tails it. She can also smell food whenever I am eating and perks right up and begs.

[QUOTE=Dunner;1862372]Barb, that is in the instructions, if it slows down or every so often. Again, she will be using filtered or bottle water.

bottled water is no better than tap water, sad to say, it has all the minerals in it, not always, but when I want a 'pure' tea or coffee and want to treat myself I buy a 4 liter bottle of distilled water (I use it to make my colloidal silver and for my steam iron anyway, so I will make the occasional coffee too...

When I have to use any other water I clean with vinegar to remove scale.
I know if you use D.water only for your coffee maker your GF will have a much better tasting coffee.... and tea (s) too!!

Just sayin' ( BTW, D water is the green ray of the rainbow! )

I know she is not going to go out and buy distilled water. It will either be bottled or Brita filtered water. Vinegar as needed. Myself, I like my tap water. Bottled/distilled water has no flavor.
