So I just quoted you - and next time I'm in the other room will log on to my laptop and look at it. Just using my old iPhone and the App like I always have.

Oh no... I'm in the easy chair and Annie is researching CGs on her Kindle. I'll mosey on by the way to bed later.

Re: 50amp tester. Yes, I would like to see the link. Is there a reason to use two duplex outlet covers rather than a single quad? Did you attach a short 50 amp cord with a male plug on it? I'm thinking I could accomplish the same checking capability with one duplex outlet and a switch on the back of the box to check each leg. One meter, one circuit tester, one switch.

Had thought about a 3 gang box with a breaker in the middle. Like I said - we looked at it and said - hey - 6th grade science project. We can do that. Didn't require a thinking cap.

Good. Thanks. I see a little project on my to-do list soon.

Only once did we encounter a fake 50amp power pole. Camp owner swore it was just simple logic to wire a couple 120s together and get 240. Trouble was they were from the same 120 source inside the box.

Guess we should be glad he wasn't our financial advisor! Be sure to post If you modify the box.

I do see what you mean. Let's see if it appears using laptop. That will indicate it's my old iPhone. Been putting off upgrade as long as possible. No telling what advances may turn up between now and going full time some time next year. Not sure iPhone will be the way to go then. Probably will be, but what vesion will be they be on then? So many decisions....

Found this info on the switched tester, as well as another version of the dual meter tester.

That's it. Old iPhone - as a matter of fact - they don't show up on any quotes on this phone. Don't sound enough time on forum on laptop to notice it all. Upgrade still on hold.

Teffy, Dang, tomorrow is full schedule. Being retired is very hard work. I never know when I'm finished. (Sorry for the four letter work word.)

Tomorrow is: take MH to dealer for follow up repairs to jack problem, visit car salesman to look at my possible new TOAD, contact a person that I need to contact....etc, etc, etc.

How long are you in the area for - a week? hee hee! (Isn't that the required amount of time at PPL?)

Yep! It's an Apple thing. They have to do everything different.
Installing any Apple software takes exactly forever.

Hey Michelle,

I know I'm about 3 pages late -- we're traveling. Here's how I fixed my iPad cable's too short to read in bed and the light bothers... except in my case it's Sena

RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter Plug : Amazon.com : Automotive

I'm assuming your Kindle has a USB on one end that you can plug into one of these

Amazon.com: PowerGen 2.1Amps / 10W Dual USB Car charger Designed for Apple and Android Devices - Black: Automotive

I think you can get the same sort of gizmos at Walmart or any Truck Stop.
