Ok mutants - thanks for providing so much comic and other relief the past week or so. I really don't have much change to report but after some reading - it does appear a bad case of bronchial CRUD (see I was paying attention) can take a 1 to 3 months to run it's course. We shall see what McPrimary Doc says tomorrow - and then on to McSpecialist Doc some time in near future.

Thanks again - there is nothing like a mutant inhabited rainbow to spread cheer and healing Ommms!

And yes - Annie is still unscathed!
Funny how just reading your post you can detect some improvement, not sure if its the tone or the word count. Good to hear from you Steve continue to get better.

Now this part is for Annie, Thank you for taking good care of Steve for all of us, we know its often a thankless job so here is some good vibes just for you!
Ummmmmmmmmmm Ummmmmmmmmmmm Ummmmmmmmm

Steve, RVM2, Illustrious Potentate, Grand Controller of RVM Central.....

There is a cadre of RVMs that feels a lot better that you have an end to your battle in sight, and hope that Doc1 and Doc2 can make a sooner-than-later finito to this CRUD.

K?

Does anyone put unwrapped food in their grocery carts that doesn't first get peeled?
Barb, maybe you should print this page and have with you when you shop, hand to manager and walk away. I can tell Sena certainly is a service animal, she keeps your nerves in check!

I believe that Mr. Steve has managed to wake us all. We feel better now knowing he is still monitoring our ponders.
Hopefully the medical professionals will aid in his speedy recovery.
May I say 1 little "GO BRONCOS!" there I had to get that out.

One of the lurkers speaks up

Ahem.

Hello.

As much as I am enjoying this vibrant discussion of foodstuffs and respiratory diseases, I am interrupting (politely) to say "Hi".

I really enjoy this group & would love to meet some of you sometime, you all sound like a lot of fun. I would like to request membership but I don't believe I have 'mutated' enough yet. Carol & I bought our rig last April with the idea of full-timing around the country when I retire (under the assumption that someday I actually can). We managed 3 whole weekend trips last year before we had to winterize & cover. I am still trying to decide what I don't have that I DO need, let alone what I don't. However, I can agree with the idea that the journey can be the destination. Now, my 2 cents:

Okra, had fried, still no thanks.
Grits, still working on that.
Bacon, definite yes.
Sweet & Spicy Bacon Chicken, gonna try that.
Flu shot, never got one, didn't get the flu either.
Rope lights, no thanks, have a string set with flamingos...

Dave

Well Dave and Carol - believe it or not - not having rope lights and not missing or wanting them when coupled with the journey is the destination in any form - unlocks the RVMdom.

While I have been under the weather I am proud to welcome you as the first RVM in the Year of the Mutant - RVM66 is hereby awarded you with all rights and privileges.

Welcome into the bright light of the rainbow - may you never lurk again!

Hay Dave!

You have a lot going for you.

Okay, you have already figgered that the Journey is Your Destination, and you are still figgerin what you need, but SURELY there must be something that you dont have that you dont need!

You already do not have and dont need rope lights (BIG plus with me, RVM1).
So, I mean hey! What could possibly be holding you back from being an RVM? You know. A Sick Twisted Mutant (aka: STM).

So, you can be an RVM (aka: STM) if you declare it. Gonna do dat?

BTW, your choices of fine chow, especially BACON, and your appreciation of my Spicy Bacon Chicken says you should just be part of this stuff.

Ya think? :-)
