Yes, leaving Marathon key, Saturday morning, driving back to Cleveland to catch a flight back to Tucson Wednesday. Not exciting, but time on the road is always good!

Hay STMs.

Now that Steve is back to active (but not working) status, wouldnt you know I get busy on a project here is Yuma?

I will be lurking and posting on occasion. Not that I have posted a bunch lately, but, well, you know how it can go.

So pleased that some of you have recovered, and others are on the mend. Is it true that a healthy RVM is happy (and maybe a bit naughty) RVM?

Dave

RVM2 beat the odds makers today and will be released from hospital this afternoon. Dr is keeping him off work for 2 weeks and has placed him on the no fly list for a month or more. Film at 11.

In related news - Annie spoke to her doctor and the consensus is she is having symptoms from Tamilflu and a little stress from dealing with a wimpy DH.

Thanks mutants - I'm beginning to see the GC @ CL in my mutant minds eye again!
Great news! As long as you are not on the "No RV" List all should be well for the GC @ CL eh?

Hey, Davdeb! If you're passing near Naples on your way north, give us a shout! We're not far off I-75 and a mini-curiosity might be arranged as you pass through.

Cheers!
Sue and non-mutated DH, Martin

DH Jim and I have been in Dallas for a couple of days for some medical tests and have missed "some" posts. My we are a wordy group. Anyway I saw some one asking about how many ladies were posting on here well I am one.

Also, saw posts about okra and grits. Grits are wonderful with breakfast. I see recipes for shrimp and grits, that is just wrong. Butter, salt and maybe pepper but shrimp nooooooooo!! Now for okra, fried is the only way DH will eat it but I had a lady from New Orleans teach me how to fix boiled okra with out the slime or also known as ropiness. It is wonderful cooked with tomatoes. Might just fix some for the GC@GL.

Steve glad you are better.

Ginny - hope everything is as it should be. The hospitals and doctors here in Dallas are up to their ears in flu and respiratory patients. Hope you got out of town without getting a bug.

Regarding the flu - since I work from home and don't run about town much I asked the doctor how the heck I could have gotten it. I don't really come in contact with many people. He said - it can be lurking anywhere - on anything - in the air - nobody around. Scary - and remember - wash those hands 5 times a day - doctors orders...

Thanks for the good wishes!
Steve
