I'm not sure that duck could have cleared the fence in RVM1s pic - much less mutated his way to Texas. He had slow waddle!

It would be cool to see where the mutants are!

I agree! May have some free time coming up and will see what I can do!

I suggest that it should be defined as

Ah the 70's.... The sideburns, the clothes, the dance and some of the music of the day - I still have nightmares. But the USAF was being kind to me at the time. Kept me from becoming as "cultured" as many of my civilian friends.

Disco Duck had nuthin on todays mutant ducks.

The folksy charm of 70's CB chatter is a lost art. Never hear it anymore. Mostly four letter word laced rants now. Coming across NM last January, I heard what sounded like a sermon on channel 19. Except it had lots of four letter words.

Who'll be next... Never posts so their slot is open again. We don't reissue numbers, once a mutant, always a mutant, but I can find no record of them in the RVM archives. Must be another one of those clerical errors.

Clerical errors are OK, as long as no copyrights are violated.

No worries. As you know copyrights are taken seriously by all RVMs.

Back in the day - I had a 40 Channel President - and still have and need to throw overboard a 23 Channel Kraco SSB base with crystals and an added 27.505 crystal - channel 50 for shooting skip. Also have the Turner +3 db power mic. Ran a skipper 300 amp with that. It was a little dirty sounding but I talked all over the world. I have thought many times about going to Ham radio and my friend that got me into the whole radio thing has been a ham operator for man years. Runs a net out of Albuquerque to this day. Maybe I'll add that to the retirement things to do list.

Hey RVM2
Sorry for the brief absence! Been so bzy getting "mutant mobile" loaded up and ready to head out on an adventure I haven't been checking in. The trip home from Kentucky was flawless. She runs and drives like a dream. I attached some pics for RVM perusal? Lol did I spell that right? Oh it doesn't matter mutants don't care. Anyway, we are planning our maiden voyage in July but can't make up our minds where to go first. DW and I are like kids in a candy store. My vote is Key West and Barb wants to go north thru Colorado. Either way we feel liberated to not have a schedule to keep.... Just point her down the road. Is that mutant enough?

WOW, nice rig! Won't Florida be a tad warm in July? Although the water should be great. We plan on scootin through from Vegas to Ohio in July. Just haven't decided on the north, middle or south route yet.

Happy trails!
