Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. had a motto at one time that said "Reach out and touch someone" had a rather well indowed young lady come in wearing the t-shirt with that printed across it. She was standing in front of me and looking to her right just enough that all I could read was the "Reach out and touch some"

Now I knew this lady well enough to know she's not the type to wear a suggestive shirt and after ogling for some time to confirm what I thought it said I ask her about the shirt. This caused her to turn toward me and the full motto and phone co logo revealed. We both had a good laugh, and still do to this day. She sets usually a row ahead of me at church.

In my teen years(70's)... there was an airline company that had a motto of 'fly me' and a orange and yellow sun split in half with a side profile of a face in one half... I had a T shirt with that on it and also the words, "I'm Marty" at the top and under the sun, "fly me". I got a lot of looks but no takers, LOL! I think itr was the old National airlines logo or a newer company with a pretty similar logo.

Speaking of T Shirts.. When I was at work one day eons ago a very well endowed you lady came into the office to bring lab test reports etc for my signature and see was wearing the Black Radio Shack "Realistic" promotion shirts. All it said was one word "Realistic" and she just about died laughing when I looked up ans said, "They certainly are Janet!" Can you imagine the trouble I would be in nowadays saying something like that?

The thing I did not think about and he did is this. Took my last steroid dose today. He said - so now we get to see if your well or not and we don't want to push that.

I never really thought about the fact that how I feel now is in part due to the steroids keeping things in check. Also - as tired as I have been - he said that was normal and recoveries are taking longer with this flu than in the past. I had not been out since getting this CRUD - but by the time I got to his office I was dizzy and light headed. I told him this was bugging me and he said - would ya rather be the next funeral - then said his last aunt - 81 years old died of this flu last week.

Ok... well that's my sad song. I do feel so much better but geesh... Did ya ever hear this rule of thumb - for ever day in bed sick - 3 days to get your strength back? That's what he said today. So fingers crossed - that I am actually well - and my strength is back by work time Monday.
Steve, just take it easy and relax as long as you can. Coming down off the steroids will be an experience you may or may not enjoy.

I' am so happy that you "cleared" up the implants statement with the word "lens."

So let me see if I'm interpreting this correctly. You want me to make the print smaller?

No, No, the print isn't too small nor is it too big, it's just right.

My latest obsession, rug hooking. Have to do something while the snow is hip deep! (although DH and I have found other ways to amuse ourselves, 6 layers of blankets are a challenge, )

I have been lurking. Steve made me post, lol.

I really envy you artistic types. Annie still gives me a bowl of dried peas and beans, some construction paper and Elmer's glue. I do what I can.

You forgot to tell everyone - your daughter is doing well!!!!

Great to hear from you! Lol.
