Southern Illinois aka Downstate is very southern in some respects. But I never hear anybody say "Y'all" even when referring to everybody. I'm not sure what parts of the south say that. Oh the discussion has really flown past this subject, We are still in Colorado. Plotting and planning for our first "officially retired" trip. The journey is the destination makes sense to me...

RVM4 - thanks for putting the mutants on the map! Sorry to hear about the rain. Good luck with the games.

Dave we appreciate the info. I'm definitely a mountain freak and love the Rockies.

Well mutants - I have pondered and offer you this for your pondering pleasure.

If you're from Chicago, much of the rest of the state is thought of as "southern IL". Folks who live in the central part of the state differentiate between central and southern. It's all in your perspective. I think of myself as living in East Central IL.

As for using "y'all", it's easier on the ears than "you guys" and quicker too. Just me being bone lazy again, ah reckin. 'Sides, I ain't no guy! And then there is "youse all" in some parts of the country. A friend from east TX once told me that the plural of y'all is...wait for it...all y'all. I like it.

Cheers...no matter how you make the plural!

I'll find you something to ponder from Dr. Seuss tomorrow. : It will probably be something about red and blue fish. Be patient, pondering is a process.

Sitting bored in a hotel in AL (softball games rained out), I said "How hard could this be?" I have to admit I felt very stalker-ish looking at everyone's profile,...but there you have it. Feel free to edit if your info is outdated.

There seem to be clusters in TX and OH, with scattered mutants across the rest of the map. I'd say Mutant Rally location is wide open.

RVM4
Good job, 4kids! You can add that RVM36 is in IL. That makes 2 of us in the Land of Lincoln. Don't know yet what part of the state Sky _Boss hails from.

Too bad about your ball games. No mutant mudball? Y'all got time for it to dry out some so play can resume?

Thanks for the update. Cheers!

Huntnski - it didn't take long to find a travel ponder just for you.

I really like that book! Wish I had written it. I knew all the words....

That is the way I do it as well. And its much easier to intimidate in a F-700 Diesel then a RV.

I Love It, I Love It, I Love It, I Do, it tells of great places and things that I'll Do. I love it so much my eggs will turn blue, my ham will be yellow and I will befriend you. But oh my Plano friend of a sort, let me not continue without this retort " I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam-I -am"

What is this "ponder" thing? Does it hurt when you try it? Should I carry some pills in case it happens to me?
