Barb and I are kinda planning a gathering Mini C but I've not been pushing too hard because of her medical plans. Once she's home and trapped in bed I will call to cajole her and get the planning started in earnest. So far we have narrowed it down to somewhere on highway 97 close to the international border. That way she can attend and not have to worry about Sena.

Trapped in bed???? Not this mutant! I'll have new knees to work the kinks outta. My slave drivers will be taking shifts with the whip making sure I get PLENTY of exercise. Sena aka Miss get up and get me food NOW! will have no sympathy, either.

I should find out tomorrow what timeslot they pick for me and then I'll be counting the hours. For now I can only claim I'm down to 2.5 days.

I still have lots to do on my pre surgery checklist but today I took another stab at fixing an annoying little roof leak. This time I put sealant under the cable entry plate as well as on top. Duh, why I didn't do that the first time. But we still have 2 more months under roof for it to thoroughly set.

Sena is mad at me for not letting her go up and inspect the job. I've cleaned Dicor off her hands once and that was enough for me. She's grounded for a few days and NOT a happy monkey about it at all.

Dennis and I will get back to planning the NW curiosity next week. Right now it's a mini-C, but we have hopes of turning it into a midi-C and maybe even an annual event.

Washington State is a marvelous place to be from July 4th through Mid September. No rain, plenty of sunshine, highs in the 70s and extra long days due to the latitude. Anyone who plans to be up this way, speak up and let us know when and we'll try to schedule around you. We have to book space soon or it will be unavailable.

Hey Tim! Jeff has done some neat stuff in nifty places. I have not Jeeped for a while as I did major dental stuff in Los Algadones and then Gwen found us and took us over for a while.

However, I have never done what some would call "challenging". I call it good bumpy fun that does not risk my boy Red. I have straddeled a crevas or two and managed to bump the pumpkins (differentials) a few times. And then there is the "Steps".....

Haha!
I have not been on youtube yet. But would be if I took the Steps fast (MoeBelly!).

The clip gives you a taste of the capability of a plain Wrangler. Yes?

I was curious about this thread and read the first page and started reading, however 758 pages of posts was a tad bit more than I could handle - LOL. I eventually will do but not today. I love the idea of this thread and I guess I am an RV Mutant or potential one. Just bought our rig and are full timing. I am always planning on what to do next and looking towards what will need servicing down the road. I am tinkering with our monster all the time so I guess I am an RV Mutant.

Prior to purchasing we had the progressive surge protector hardwired in. I know I could have done but cutting and trying to wire in a 50 Amp cord is not my idea of fun and besides they had it on sale. My next purchase will be either the tire monitoring system or hitch, base plate and brake system for the new car we have not purchased yet.

Well back to reading a few more of these posts. Thanks for the great thread.

Btw there are only 2 of us from Arkansas....... Oh and figuring out the spouses, real names, kids, grandkids, fur babies..... Lol.... Good luck.....[/QUOTE]

MoeBelly,
There is a test in 3 days that are questions on each Mutant's name, DW's name, Kid's name, including fur babies. So prepare yourself.

Are you from Arkansas? Oh Hevens, don't include relatives from there. We don't have enough time to read all of them.

This is RVM#14, Wayne, and DW is Earlene. The 80 pounds Husky fur baby is Miya. (Pictures on request - of Miya.)

Howdy, myshaggydog!

You are on the cusp of becoming RVM68 and enjoying all of the rights an privledges associated with such a title.
But first you must undergo a VERY strenuous qualification process. Here are the questions:

1. Is the Journey Your Destination?

2. Can you tell us about one or two things that you do not have and do not need?

I do not have and will never need rope lights, and other things as seen in the first post.

Congrats on your new rig and for being F/T!

Dave

Myshaggydog, do we call you shaggy or Dog, or maybe George?

You have entered a tread of high IQ, Respectful, Concerned, Intelligent and good looking individuals.

Leave there now! And come read more with US! This mutant group may be just a little different than most, but we are friendly.

Regardless of our differences there are two things we all have in common.

The Journey is our Destination!

Each of use don't have things on our coach/rig and don't miss it!

Do you qualify?
