Hey Tim !!!

Well I just got here last Saturday so we haven't gotten into any challenging Jeeping yet. But ya have to understand if my DW is in the Jeep, a moderate trail is as challenging as its going to get. She has a habit of saying Nooooooooo way are you doing that !!!! lol

Cheers !!!

Hah it would have been interesting to see a 4-door come down that, I know I could do it but I also know Marcia would be screaming NOOOOOOOO in my right ear.

Been looking around for some possible Forrest roads that might be enjoyable. If dogwoods are blooming we might find some nice roads here. Much of the timber company land is gated due to deer hunting leases. Talked to some locals and they always used private land with or without permission. DidNt figure that would help my reputation as a Curosity Host if I got some of us shot! Did find a great lookout that I had never been to before.

Looking at the Rubicon really hard. Would rather be over equipped than not! A wise old RVer (Dave) told me to get what I want, I deserve it! Man of great wisdom!

You are on the hunt for trails. Way cool, Tim!

I bought my Wrangler new, and also know a lot of off-road Jeepers that taught me a ton. The advice? A Wrangler Sport is superbly capable and will do as much and more than you need. But you can do the same with a Rubicon for about another $10,000.

I could have had any Wrangler I wanted, and I got it. If you get a Rubicon you may get "Jeep muscles" (also known as crazy confidence) and I would choose to not follow you. ;-)
But I would take a video of you!

Got Moab, Ut on my mind and in my future. Nothing crazy, just fun and new. Now if I can get Cart (Jim) to go with me and take pics I'll be good!

Dave -
Lets see where do I start. Is the Journey my Destination? Years ago the Destination was always my journey. Two weeks to get where I want to be. Now I really do not care where I go, it's all those things I missed out when I was younger because I was too much in a hurry. Well I do want to visit relatives on the way (our kids, grandkids, etc.) and would like to see Quartzite but I am sure there are a heck of a lot of places in between here and there. So presently, yes the Journey is the Destination.

I do not have a compass on the RV and I do not want one. Why? Because I don't care what direction I am traveling. All roads lead every where. I don't have an automatic water hose or power cord holder and I don't want one. Well if the RV came with one I would use. LOL No rope lights but I cringe every time my DW says they would be nice. So don't kick me out if some day you see those silly things by our RV.

Wingennis - We do like the Newmar DutchStar and consider ourselves lucky finding this one but does it really matter as long as the journey is the Destination?

Tim - I will answer to most anything unless my DW asks me to do something then of course I have an immediate hearing loss, something chronic.

If this makes me a an RV Mutant then I guess I have the genetic makeup to be one.

See you all as we cross paths. Now don't bother me I am doing important things like trying to read the thousand or so posts to this thread. LOL

Hi George and Brenda. Sounds like you are of like mind..... but official numbership comes from the high... Or is it the low (number 1&2).... Anyhow i am afixin to go weave a basket, so I am getting my hello in early.

One note - if you use the irv2 mobile site it doesnt give your signature, the big site does, so that is the best way to associate the wannabe names with our given names.....

Well only 753 pages to go. Ok I am a slow reader. Oh and thanks for the honor. Do I have to ride a goat or anything?

One of the newest RVM's.

Ok so Dave gave you the web site so you certanly need to check it out and I've given Herb long enough to make his pitch and he's sleeping so I'll tell you about the Grand Curosity, it's at Catherins Landing, Hot Springs, AR April 24 thru 30 2014. This is our first Grand Rally (Curosity= gathering of mutants)

FYI, most of us have never meet other than right here on the thread! I know we have some other mutants coming up from Fl so this might be a good outing for you. Check you calendar and let us know!
