Barb signed off 12:05am cst 2/5/14 with intent of getting rest which I hope she does.
Now how long before she, not her friend, is back to posting?
I say by 8:30pm, any other guess's?

Oh, nasty memories after Ike. We evacuated and the S&B was without power for 17 days. Not something pleasant. Only consolation was neighbor and S-I-L emptied the freezer before we got home. I don't wish power outages for log periods on anyone.

Let's see, if 2 + 2 = 5, then 2 + 2 = 4, so I'll pick 1348 hours (1:48 p.m. for you less fortunate.)

Tim.....
Check out the other... barb has wifi in the preop....... Lol.... Go Barb...
I was coming back from Europe about 6 years ago. My son was supposed to call me and tell me where he had parked my car. He had not called by the time I had a layover in Chicago. So i anxiously called him. This female voice answered with "Dr Yarnell's phone". I told her i was his mom and needed to know where my car was.... So she asked him..... HE WAS PERFORMING SURGERY..... We still tease him about taking my call while in the OR.....

I went to the doctor and hospital (for xrays) today, and now have inhalers, cough suppressants, antibiotics and orders to stay in bed or go check in at the hospital.
Oh, and daytime TV is awful. Who watches this stuff?
Back to bed...

A good book series seems to be in order for your amusement....

I have a couple of good books waiting to be read, but the cough suppressants have codeine, so I fall Zzzzzzzz asleep frequently. Zzzzzzz. Unfortunately it appears I'm not getting better. Breathing is not optional, but I'm not doing a good job of moving air. I hope warmer weather comes soon. We've had far too much time indoors with other sick people. Camping time!

Well, the car got stuck in the s**w (another 4-letter word) at the end of the driveway so I didn't go to work today. I did finally get it back in the garage though. I'm lurking around here off and on today, watching for post-surgery posts from Bionic Barb and seeing what else is happening.
When he discovered that wingennis was of the female persuasion and ex-Navy, myshaggydog missed his chance to come back with "HELLO Sailor". However, since he has a DW, maybe it's for the best.
Whoever does get RVM#69 may get some teasing (all in fun of course). I think I like jelly over preserves, my preversions I take somewhere else on the 'net, you are all too nice for that stuff on here. Maybe sometime when we actually meet somewhere (nudge, nudge, wink-wink...)

Does anyone know how long the knee replacement surgery is supposed to take? And I would guess it is times 2 on how long it takes, unless there are 2 operations going at once. I wonder how they make sure both legs are the same? Seems challenging to me. Go Barb!!

She's gonna be busy... you know they don't leave you alone so you can rest, or give you any peace in a hospital.... she'll have the dang knee bender and ice packs going full time here soon and then they'll make her get up... and of course, she has set herself a monumental task of going home in 2 days... holding my tongue here...Go Barb, Go... but if you need more time... for God's sake girl, take it!
