No snow today Tim. Patio thermometer reads 36 degrees. Not too bad. Still seemed like soup weather. Annie was out running around and brought me some Pho. Yum.

Snow must be north of you. Or weatherman says the brunt of the snow we will get starting this afternoon is over around Ft Worth. We're expecting about 2 inches. Got wood box full. It's 28 on my deck right now.

I had a apple, a Orange and some grapes for lunch. That followed a 3/4 mile swim. Getting ready for the buffet on cruise ship!

I've been checking in here way more often than usual, looking to see if Barb is going to flash a "A-OK". But so far I guess it is the ole 'no news must be good news' thought. So if she manages to PM some one, I hope that person will be kind enough to at least let us know she is alive!!! Not that I doubt that she will have anything but the best of outcomes, but some little bit of concrete knowledge would be wonderful!!! Go Barb!!

While this falls into the "no news" category - I just called Barb to see if I could raise her. I could not. The phone did ring and not go straight to voice mail, for what's that worth.

I left a message and to told we mutants are beside ourselves thinking of her - passed along well wishes and let her know we love and miss her.

That's all I got...

I've been lurking the last couple of days. DW and I are hoping for a progress report on Barb.

"Hang tough Barb, they (the medical staff) are only doing what's best for you. They (the medical staff) are not graduates of the marquis de sade school of pain and cruelty. The laps around the nurses' station will start to seem shorter in no time.

Spread sheet for ailing mutants? Who da thunk? I mean a year ago we were all just cruisin' around and reading IRV2 posts and being kinda incognito sharing and advising with our experiences, and now due to the brainchild (RVM) of Steve and Dave and (Anne and Nola behind the scene), we are a group of concerned warts!
Yeah we all are truly worrying about other mutants, and mutant animals.
Just have to keep sending out those positive vibes and thoughts and prayers and know that soon we have a healthy crew once again!
