2 1/2 inch budget lift will put you back equal to the standard 2 door Wrangler. Then if more lift needed bigger tires when you need them. Been doing my homework.

New topic for my mutant friends

Last summer we traveled the Pacific Northwest and Alaska for 10 and a half weeks. We took many pictures but put some of the best in our blog. If you're looking for something to do in your "down time" you can visit our blog at Indiana to Alaska and Back - 2013

Scroll down and start at the beginning of our trip and then you can follow along with us.

What a time we had. We mutated about 5 times on that trip. Awe struck too many times to count.

I too will eventually do the Alaska trip by RV. DW wanted to cruise first so we did that last summer. Next summer is again being taken up by relatives.

Oh well like Toronto Maple Leafs claim "There's always next year."

X2 and personally, I'd trade age for youth any day. Sure retirement will be great - but every stage of my life has been great - and that includes this "pre-retirement" age.

Yippee!! I am not old enough to retire yet!!! Yippee!!

And yes, some are younger than me and retired. But my retirement age is still ahead of me and I'm fine with that. In fact I'm thinking about working a little longer than I planned. Maybe all the way to 61 or 62. Or, maybe not... It's nice to have a job with a pension, health care and choice!!

And even though I'm still gaining strength from having the flu - I have taken advantage of having dropped 15 lbs - dieting - and since quitting smoking - I'm feeling pretty darn good. Heck I may work till 65!! Or not.

Pawpaw great photos, looked like a great trip. We did the cruise several years ago hoping to make the Jorney in MH sometimes in future. Tetons, Yellowstone possibly 2015.

Wayne, seems you've been gone thousands of seconds. Welcome back! Not sure about your reference to Diwizi but we're both Arkies. Had to bring in some help since we had all these Texans coming to the GC. lol

Good morning Muteys! The sun is shining once again here and for the next 45 minutes I'm a happy camper. And then the Physical Therapy begins

I worked with a leg amputee guy in a sawmill and every once in a while he'd complain about not know where they buried his amputated foot. So one day I turned and asked him why he would want to know. His response was, "So I can scratch my athlete's foot; it's driving me crazy."

Phantom Pains are a tad much at times.
