You need to go back and look at the previous post before Tim decided he was with Marcus... or whoever he's with now-a-days. You misspelled several words in that post.

However, Now I understand completely. You are both from Arkansas!

Btw, i was born at Wichita Falls, TX, at Sheperds AFB... (Yes Wayne my daddy was Air Force..... )

Ask Larry about root beer floats when you meet him at GC.
We just might be....Mom was born in the big city. She was from Van Buren. Family in the country all around Alma - Fayetteville and so on. I'm sure what was country then is no longer so...

We once went camping at Natural Dam. We had been there many times before and loved playing in the water. This particular trip - there had been a lot of rain and the water was high. My dad says look at all those sticks and branches in the water. Upon closer inspection - M R Snakes. Ok pack it up - we moved to some place with these cabin that were natural stone and rustic. So mom goes into the bathroom - comes out and says M R scorpion? To this day I haven't looked it up - but never really thought of Ar as a scorpion state. Maybe we had the cabin with the only one...

Listening to the presentation was like reliving my life, simply incredible.

Now you may return to your regularly scheduled mutating.

Cheers !!!!
Ha Wayne, is this where you first became confused? lol

Diane, I was pondered this and decided it was one of those things that can only be understood by those who are -- just like being an RVM. Both are beyond the comprehension of those who are not. Wow, you must be a totally rare breed to be both.

I'm doing very well, thanks. I can go up and down the RV steps in a reasonable amount of time, can walk to my power wheelchair parked outside at the back of the coach, gave up the walker in favor of a cane and have quit taking pain pills. The PT came today and was all smiles so I guess I passed.

I'm getting really bored, however. Is it April, yet?

Nah. I was from the Delta.... Helena, which is on the Mississippi River, about 60 miles below Memphis.... No scorpions on that side, those are in the rocks, but snakes, oh yes....

Tell Annie Happy Birthday......

See what I mean - nothing ever really disappears from the Internet....
-----------

Tim - truth - I had ordered the 6 Week step down Nicoderm CQ patch and had it on hand and ready to quit smoking before the flu kicked in. And since I have shared this with a few mutants privately - may as well tell all. I also already had received my first order of Nutrisystem for Diabetics as well. So yep - I had every intention of quitting smoking and loosing weight before that nasty flu hit me.

So not sure if I mentioned this or not - but heavy doses of IV steroids raise your blood sugar. I am working to control mine with oral meds and never used insulin. In the hospital after a few injections - they gave me a stick. Eek: 367 and that meant insulin for the remainder of my short time in the hospital. I had never see a reading anywhere near that high.

But you are right Tim. The future looks bright - with will power and the love of a great woman.

Steve, never seen a wild scorpion in AR, and lived here all my life. Have heard of scorpions and snakes brought in on plants shipped here from out of state.

I thought this was humorous, I told my pastor I would be out a few days as I would be hauling a load of firewood up to my son's ( also a pastor) . His reply, you mean they don't have trees up in Missouri?

I then replyed, you mean your dad never brought you a load of firewood when you were a young pastor?

He laughed, no not firewood, but he did bring over a dump truck load of dirt onetime.
