I admit I ruined my life with booze and tobacco. Sure was a fun ride. Now I pay.

I heard a saying Mike - all too late in life though - "A man should smoke and drink as much he likes, but shouldn't begin until 50."

What a difference that would have made - money saved, health, and who knows what else....

GF gave me a side-less hospital bed to make it easier on my back to watch TV or lay in a position that us favorable for my back. Sadie gets freaked when I operate it or turn on the vibrator. She'll lay on it but scrams when I push a button.

Think of something useful I can make out of aluminum, steel or hard plastic. Remember, I said useful and not only to me. It has to be interesting, too.

Steve, I saw them. Although time consuming, not very practical use of my time. I would rather make a tool then go buy it, and then only once.... just to prove I can do it.

And NASCAR lies. According to my calendar, the full moon was last night.

Hi Mike ,

Its great to hear from you. Just remember to take one day at a time, I know that saying may be old, but its all you can do, and just try to do it the best you can.

Cheers !!!

It'll be a year since my last treatment in May. Dr said taste would come back in 6 months. One of the hand-outs said some of the symptoms may be permanent.

One side effect is that I used to shave my neck below my jaw line. Hair doesn't grow there any more and hot or spicy foods burn my mouth and throat.
