No she is not. She is asking if there are any curbs on the way. It just never ends.

Seriously great shot of both of the, one looks even human and the other very intelligent.
If it wasn't for Miya and my one friend, i wouldn't have anyone to hang around with, except for Earlene. (Sometimes I'm no fun, or is it her.)

Well, as I have stated in the past, I have a little plaque that says, "I am master of this house. Whatever my wife says shall be done."

I just have to find another plaque that says, "I am the driver of this motorhome. Wherever my wife says to go is where I'll go." (have to be careful with that one)

So anyhow, Earlene says she has a cousin that she keeps in touch with via the internet, etc., and that we need to go to Fort Worth area before heading to the GC@CL. So the driver will follow the navigator. (Back seat driver is more like it.)

Stand by Muteys, we're a comin'.

The Columbia River is known worldwide for its wind surfing!

Its OK, its back to rain, around noon we had three or so inches and now its about a tad over an inch left. Should be gone by morning.

The Doppler radar out of Washington State is predicting one heck of a rainstorm for the whole area but it looks to be skirting where you are, I think.

Are you near the 97 / 84 interchange? Maryhill State parks area or Lewis Clark Hwy?

Before I had my last back surgery I went to a medical supply house and bought a medical staple remover. At the appropriate time, I had my daughter and her boyfriend remove the staples. It would have been much harder to ride an hour each way to have them removed. We're all EMTs, so we are kind of medical geeks. It's not hard to do, and it didn't hurt. The staple remover cost $.99 plus tax.

Hang in there - you've already conquered the hardest parts. My wife had a rough time with her knee replacement, but you seem to be doing pretty well! Yay, Barb!

Okay Wayne so the master has spoken and boy do I understand that! So your coming to town for family and that's great but if you have a nite your free before we head out let's get together for dinner. We have a place we want to take you too that we just discovered.

We are near Cathlamet, about 30 miles west of I-5 on State Hwy 4. It's almost a straight shot in from the Pacific and 300 feet north of the Columbia River.

There's a tall cliff behind the house that has been oozing rainwater for days and they have 3 pumps running non-stop trying to keep water out of the old part of the house.

Last weekend 3 pine trees over 50 feet tall were toppled by the combination of snow and wind. Luckily they missed all buildings, but huge boulders have come down off the cliff during heavy rains and taken out 2 different spots on the back wall of the house and the RV garage where we're parked. I decided it was best to park with the engine towards the cliff and not the bed.

I thought about removing my own staples, Elizabeth, but I'm afraid my HMO would frown on that. It's only a 30 minute drive to the orthopedic surgeon's office and he ordered Home Health for me which is saving trips into town to do warfarin blood levels and PT twice a week.

My staples had to stay in 14 days because I'm allergic to Steri-strips that they usually put on after removal. They're starting to itch, so I know the time is right.

I gave up the walker today and started using forearm crutches, but only for balance. And I'm happy to say that the pain when standing and walking is almost gone. Everything is headed in the right direction.

Hmm, it must be time to start counting down the days until the GC@CL again.
