Yeah, I tested it out here where I knew I wouldn't get into trouble. I drive OK.

Snow with ice pellets yesterday and over night. 1 degree this morning and at 9 now which is about the high today. Windchill 9 below. Low tonight of -6 actual temp. Highs in the sixties by Thursday. I wish we had more global warming. Everybody needs to burn more fossil fuel or something. I try to do my part.

Here in Penciltucky it is mid 20s, lows going into the single digits (that's Fahrenheit you N of the border Metric people ). Had 4 inches of snow fall today, more on the way tonight.

BTW, CBS This Morning on Friday had a story that experts were afraid global warning could adversely affect the ski resorts. I had a good laugh at that.

Tonight some time I'll have to switch it over to heat mode, I'm sure. Predicted 42 degrees by morning and warming up to 51 degrees throughout the day. We'll stay like that until Thursday when it gets up into the 60's again. I just love Texas, this part that is and at this time of year.
Now Wayne c'mon your not really foolin anybody. The inside air temp in your house is always 10-15 degrees warmer. Double pained gas filled windows....sheesh! Say nothin about the hot air generator inside. Don't go blaming Earlene either.

Les and I live in the areas of Canada that are rivals for hottest day honours in the summertime. The island is generally the warmest part of Canada in the winter. May head out for a day or two of storm watching if the forecast winds start to materialize. Nothing more majestic than huge waves crashing over the west coast rocks in winter storms. The crashing roars that result have a very soothing affest on me and lulls me to sleep at night.

Woke to +3F this morning, and I think it may have warmed to nearly 25, only have about an inch of white stuff out there. Not to say it matters much, as I haven't gone out for a couple days now. I am retired. Hoping to be able to head off on the rainbow in a couple weeks. Checking the weather forecasts, and cursing the weather forecasters. They always dangle those nice temps out there 10 days and as it gets closer, they change the forecast. The good weather is always 10 days away.

You must come from a sea-faring tradition. I'm a landlubber and would get seasick just thinking about those crashing roars.

Now we're cooking. Two of our favorite foods. Asparagus and bacon. We grow it, when weather permits.
