Pepper welcome to our eclectic side of the rainbow. Our Grand Poobah aka CampDaven or our Most Illustrious Potentate aka flaggship will be along shortly to confer upon you your official RVM # with all rights and privileges therein. We are having our first ever Grand Curiosity at Catherine's Landing in Hot Springs AR next month April 24-30th. If you guys are available to join us then PM me and I will get you the details on our STM (Sick Twisted Mutants) planned event. There are about 20 or more mutants already signed up and room for more. She sure gets around, wasn't it her causing mayhem on your chest about 9:30 last evening?

OK oh illustrious scholar, now go back and count all the multipost answers which would skew the results to the lower side of the count. Doncha just hate multipost repliers.

Rules we only have two that I was told of
1-there are no rules
2-If inclined to make one see rule one first.

I'll drink to that but at the crack of ten it will have to suffice being coffee. Neil and Deb welcome to the "Farside" of the rainbow.

It appears that even in the RVMsom tires are a topic that can generate much conversation and consternation.
Before I ramble on about tires and prices --->
Jeff and Herb did you get what you need from Dave or Wayne or the FMCA site?
FYI the posted price on the FMCA site for my 275/70R/22.5's was the current program price. Also, a quick call to FMCA and I was in touch with a very knowledgeable lady with all the info - and I was never asked for my member #. My membership was good until 10/15 but she was so helpful and nice I went ahead and renewed til 10/16. Since planning to go full time - I have made a habit of paying forward on things while employed -
I think the place I'm using is a little high on their mount, balance, dispose, etc at about $90 a tire. But for me they are 1) A local business Plano Tire 2) been in business for years. 3) they also do RV inspections and have done Bonitas in the past 4) did some battery service for me resulting in a warranty swap of my house batteries. So I'm comfortable with them.
More to follow.

The best reason for dealing with someone is "you're comfortable with them," as it usually means they have been fair and above board in the past. I recommend service and dealers who were good to me as a way of saying thanks. I am happy that our tires were replaced just before we bought "Gracie" from the previous owner. Still have a few years of life on them before I have to start replacing them.
