Afternoon Muteys!

Well its only 44 days until the First Ever Hope To Be At Least Annual Grand Curiosity in Hot Springs AR. on April 24-30th at Catherine's Landing RV Park. For those of you who are recent pledges to our sick group of mutants, we hope you will still consider joining us for what promises to be a grand conclave of talented, deep thinker oddballs who get excited over nothing but can spend hours debating anything! The blanket of fog that will lay over the campground for a full week with the intoxicating aroma of bacon will spawn some entertaining times. Our Grand Poobah not to be confused with PooPoo will incite a riot with his open kimona policy.YIKES And....as if that weren't enough.....our Most Illustrious Potentate will decorate the proceedings with Mardi Gras beads that have been who knows where in the past while dancing around the pavillion whistling to nostalgic old tunes of a bygone era. Yes friends this is going to be a Grand Conclave of epic proportions. Imagine, campfires all over the park, Wayne and I stumbling around with our newly minted RVMutant Mugs of smoothies, the buzz of mutants locked in deep debate over mundane topics, and our mascot Sena the monkey running amuck whilst Barb on her new bionic knees chases after her. Why there will never ever be another "First Grand Curiosity" so don't miss out. There is still time to plan to join us, but you must first contact either myself or MIP (Most Illustrious Potentate) aka Steve aka flaggship1 so we can give you instructions and put you on the official roster of attendees to guarantee your space. So come on, what say you? We currently have about 1/4 of our members joining and we need more!

I have a 64 ounce keep cool mug. Has it's own handle. Looks like a miniature barrel. I'll try to remember to take it along for my smoothy.

This is all a bloody nuisance, but will pass and isn't painful now. It's just a shame to cut short both the kayaking and the biking...nothing to do now but sit around eating bonbons. And bacon.

Nighty-night!

But the real question is can you still spin?

I cannot believe how yakky yo'all get when I have to be away for a day or so. 5 long pages to catch up on.

We cannot discuss sale of these fine items here on iRV2 - but once we get past the GC @ CL and I see how many are left - I will put info on www.rvmutants.com including a picture of the actual travel mug should anyone be interested.... Don't worry if not attending - I can always order more - but carrying around a bunch of mugs - and buying outright without an estimate of actual interest is a bit of a issue...
I'll take two and if she will Barb can snag these for us. Send PMwith price and I'll put a cheque in the mail.

I seldom revolt down cliffs, I find that repelling!

Oh, you win the Mutant Quote of the Day Contest. Neat way to work in our theme.

How does one catch this bonbon and bacon affliction again?

Yep! It's a mad, mad, mad world we RVMs live in. The GC will just be a beginning of the insanity.

Ohhhh my. Sometimes its hard to believe we have yet to have spent a year growing the RVMdom - 4/14/13 Beginning - and sometimes it seems like we've been at it forever. What's even harder to believe is that there have been a handful of meetings - mini-micro-curiosities - and yet some many friendships have blossomed (to borrower a springtime term.)

I think we need a shout out. Go Mutants!!!

On EDIT - Steve - I quoted you - but now that's gone - so here is my reply anyway.....

Well - I thought posting the pictures would get ya there. My mistake and not intended as an affront. Really though that would help. First thing is to get the pictures I posted - saved to your computer somewhere. One that's done it I'm pretty sure the avatar upload is in the User CP area. Since I am always on the iPhone - I forget everything I ever did on the PC immediately.

Hey Wayne - Can ya help Steve find where to upload a pic for his avatar?

Ok so once you save the file that Steve posted, you have ir on your computer. Then you have to upload it to your irv2 profile files.

You can do that at the same time you are editing your signature. They dont make it easy. You are limited to one photo.... So you might want to delete the jumpy in your signature. Then make sure you get it inserted within the quote lines etc..... I chose to center mine as opposed to left justify, but you gave to do it line by line.

To do the double photo in my profile page, i just did a simple ipad photo app and combined 2 photos into one. Saved it and it appears as one.

Took me several tries to get my signature like i wanted it. I had my website linked, but that was illegal, cause i do occasionally sell my artwork...

Dont give up..... You can preview your signature as you go.....

By pure chance I succeeded in getting the mutant logo onto my avatar. However, 25 - 30 attempts (using 10 different things) to put the logo on my signature have been futile. This system does not give adequate aids, hints, information, or example for the "computer challenged" to accomplish much of anything.

My DW was an IT specialist for 30 years with a major corporation and can't figure out some of the things on this system.

^^^ thanks Diane - guess I need to go back in and figure out how to center my avatar.... Lol.

Steve ---- but we both need to figure out the center thing.... Hey Diane - let's set up a learning session at GC @ CL - and while you teach watercolors for dummies (me) you can fix avatars and tutor iRV2 Basics.... Old Msgts. can't be taught so Wayne - you're out.... Only basics or former basics need apply.
