Well - I thought posting the pictures would get ya there. My mistake and not intended as an affront. Really though that would help. First thing is to get the pictures I posted - saved to your computer somewhere. One that's done it I'm pretty sure the avatar upload is in the User CP area. Since I am always on the iPhone - I forget everything I ever did on the PC immediately.
Hey Wayne - Can ya help Steve find where to upload a pic for his avatar?
|
Easier on pc....as opposed to mobile app.
Go to blue bar/user cp (control panel) then just edit your signature
I seldom bother to upload a photo prior. Just an extra step....

Nope centering not required, but you can change the font and size too.
The teacher/artist sides of my brain keep up a game of tug of war.
I also made a side by side of my profile avatar in case i decide to flip flop the photos from signature to profile avatar.

On the iPhone app my avatar looks like it is off center - left justified. On the computer it looks centered. Thought maybe I skipped a step there.

Steve ---- but we both need to figure out the center thing.... Hey Diane - let's set up a learning session at GC @ CL - and while you teach watercolors for dummies (me) you can fix avatars and tutor iRV2 Basics.... Old Msgts. can't be taught so Wayne - you're out.... Only basics or former basics need apply.
|
Hmmmmm maybe. One time i was teaching teachers how to use a pc and i said put your mouse on the blinking word on the screen, when a teacher picked up their mouse and placed it on her screen.... Literally. Lol. Word choices, my bad....
I am using my ipad, seldom ever use my laptop, but i switched from the irv2 app to the website to do things like this...... Still....
It is confusing, but irv2 uses the same forum template as several other forums.....

So..... This is bad - but no worse than the others.... Hmmm... Did you once have a job where you introduced yourself like this - "Hi. I'm Diane. I'm from the IRS and I'm here to help."

Your Welcome!
Ha, I did my part, I remained quite!
Actually Mary and I were scouting out a great little restaurant that has a Tuesday night Prime Rib special over in Hot Springs. Just another day planning for the GC!

I think the secret was removing the darn little jumpy. 90 minutes of frustration without any recommendations from iRV2 telling we start from scratch, dump the jumpy, or anything except what was obvious on my screen.
