When you come to a fork in the road, take it. It's probably the one you lost last trip. Back to a full set.

I thought that was - when you come to a sock in the road, take it..... Probably the one the dryer ate or stuck inside your T-shirt... And back to a full pair.

Calling all RVMs. RVM1 and I were discussing starting a thread - RVMs on the Road. There are 38 of us now - and I suspect more are lurking. With TEFFYs post yesterday about the generator being out - we got to thinking it might be a good idea to have a travel log for us to share our journeys and to let each other know where we are, and if out and about and in need. Ya never know where one of us might be who can help.

I would want to have a link back to this thread in case someone lurking wants to join in the RVM Curiosity. But a RVM travel log seems like it might be a good idea. I don't want to take advantage of the site with a bunch of threads but this might be a good idea.

Any thoughts on this? Are we good with the 1 thread or would a traveling thread be a good idea? Let us know.
Happy Fathers Day to all mutant dads out there.

And TEFFY - report in please. We are shining the MutantLight in the sky for you!!

Seems like the RVM thread is growing faster than the rope lights are multiplying. I'm not sure about the need for a separate thread for travelers, but I will follow the humble leaders. For sure the irv2 forum is the most helpful on the web. And of course mutant helpers would be the best of the best. So either way, new thread, or part of this one, I have faith in the curiosity of RVM's.

I agree with Judy that we may not need a separate thread. Hopefully just a post on this thread would do the trick: "Hey, this is RVMxx, my location is xxxxxxx and I have yyyyyy problem. Any RVM's in the vicinity?" This assumes, of course, that all RVM's are subscribed to this thread.

Maybe we can figure a way to start a blog that everyone can post to? I'm not a blogging expert, but it looks like WordPress could do it.

There really isn't any practical advantage of a blog over a forum thread that everyone can post to. I'm a great believer in the KISS principle.
