I can do BBQ three or four times a day but Stephanie won't tolerate it. She like ribs but with only one hand she's a little slow but she'll plod right along. After dinner she's always tasteful to kiss, 'cause she'll have sauce from cheek to cheek.
I've got several things that I want to talk to you about, so I guess I'm going to start a list - so I can forget where I put it.

The smoker is coming with us and the plan was to bring and smoke 2 turkeys for Mardi Gras party. Cajun injected and rubbed.
It isn't an issue to fire it up and it actually cooks faster than the "low and slow" my side fire box smoker did. I left it with friends when we downsized out living. With the wireless thermometer, you don't even need to sit too close - 300 feet or so down by the lake with a line in the water.....
We can wrap things in bacon and throw em in the smoker...

[QUOTE=okmunky;1965028]To the best of my memory, which isn't very good, I've place an "e" next to the name of folks that are on the RVM email list. Yahoo lists by their screen name and email address and I don't remember everyone. Plus we have a few DWs and a DH on the email list. If I've left someone off, just yell.
Barb, you e-mailed me AND my DW on Sunday and we replied to your e-mail. Seems that your short term memory is on the fritz.

Barb and I discussed the group meals / events planning and de decided to hold off trying to corral everyone until a month out. That's fast approaching so I need to think on it a bit. There are several folks with dietary restrictions - Gluten Free - small meals due GBypass - etc. So stand by one, and I will pull something together and get it out there (somewhere).
But anyone wanting to buy a Standing Rib Roast for the smoker - bring it on!! I will bring several flavors of smoking wood.
