A Super-Mini-C is brewing for next Wed in North Texas. Dwayne and Shara will be cruising up 75 and it looks like a dinner will take place in an undisclosed location. Planned attendees include Cart and Ginny - Herb and Barb - Annie and I - and the intrepid couple. Dinner for 8 Mutants - could get out of hand. And all are signed up for the GC @ CL!!

Sad, but true Herb. Oh to be young and dumb again. I love watching kids under 6 play. No worries, no cares. The world is theirs, or so they think.

I too remember going to the grocery store with my Dad, and it was a Piggly Wiggly in Rockford, Illinois. Then when we moved to Madison, Wisconsin, the Piggly Wiggly we shopped at got its name changed to Eagle. We also shopped at A & P supermarkets. I thought they all changed, but then a couple years ago I saw a Piggly Wiggly still going strong.

Long draw will be good therapy when I get to that stage, though. I can hardly wait! I'll still be trussed like a half turkey by GC@CL!

Nice to hear from you. How's your girl?

Cheers!

Bummer! Let's hope it is not too long. Don't overdo!

Alas, daughter had another seizure end of Feb. Meds side effects were so bad she said she would prefer to have a seizure every couple of months rather than be non-functional all the time. So.... not sure of summer travel plans. Suggesting that she come with us on a hoped-for RV trip to the Maritimes, but 3 adults and 2 dogs in a 23' trailer would be cozy!

Judy - think I mentioned this before - Annies sister lives in Rockford. And for the trivia lovers - Rockford is the home of the Sock Monkey. Annie is from Normal - home of Beer Nuts. And her grandma was from Austin. Mn - home of Spam and the Spam Museum. Me - I'm just homely.

I am eagerly awaiting the You-tube video of the event
Surely there will be one for us unfortunates so far, far away?
Possible titles:
"As the Bacon Turns"
"Days of Our Kimonos"

Other suggestions?

Yes Steve, now that you mention it, I do recall you saying something about Rockford. I have 2 sisters still living there, and hundreds of family members, in the area. I was the youngest of 8 born there.

Tina - I hereby summon the totality of healing energy and Ommms of the RVMdom and send them to your daughter and family. All RVMs are challenged to do their part in there way as well.

I know you had hoped this was behind you, so let's just visualize it gone.... All the best to you, your daughter and family. Pondering - You seem to have a close family - what can 23' do to what y'all have. Strengthen it methinks.

I had a sock monkey as a kid. Have a knock off pint sized one still - but not the "real deal". I remember Annie talking with her sister when you were headed that way. I feel guilty about complaining of our winter weather. Especially this year. They had far to many -10 degree nights for Illinois.... Brrr just Thimphu about it.

And I have heard from a few - that they do not eat wild game - domestic cattle are ok though....
Jim eats deer, just ask Mary and Tim how much he ate of Mary's fried deer this past August in Colorado. Me, no I don't eat any wild meat of any kind. Had to do that too much as a kid growing up.
