Man. I hate correcting this. I loved the sound barrier thing ...
Possum said it at #12633.

But, in truth, the typo-troll got me. It's 394 miles, 6.3 hours.

Still, I could have just left it as another "Tall Texas Tale".

My Party Shirt Ponder: any kind of attire will work for Mardi Gras night. Whether it's a Hurricane - a Margarita - or TEFFYs tea - a festive party shirt should fit right in.

The longer ya sit next to the lion cage, the less notable the lion. Which reminds me - big NCIS fan - and the Ziva-isms always made us laugh.

The other day Ziva to Tony: Easy there lion.
Tony to Ziva: It's tiger. Easy there tiger.

Back to you Chet.

Don't even know how to pronounce Ouachita.
Ok, 71 south then 270 east will be good two lane road with occasional passing lane. It's traveled by 18 wheelers so you'll need to stay out of their way or get ran over, but the road surface itself is fairly smooth and curves not too bad!

DO NOT TAKE 7 south from I-40. It's a scenic highway that is narrow and winding.

The easiest route is I-40 to I-430 (LR) South to I-30 West to exit 98 highway 270.

Steve posted that he was placing the driving instructions to park on the Rvmutants.com site.

And I can attach and send them in PDF to the CG @ CL email list from the RVM group attendee list - I believe it shows up in your inbox as being To:RVMs (or is it from RVMs). Either way - watch for it.... And here for notice of the post and email.

Just so you all don't think Mary and I are all fun and games, we took in a historical site while in San Juan. Some old fort thingy and this, The Home of the First Piņa Colata! History never tasted so good!

Anyone else notice the post listing at the bottom of the last message on the page? At this moment it says, "It's Friday Night, what are you drinking?" Obviously there are no mutants there. Who only drinks on Friday night?

Ummm, do you like Pina Colata's, getting caught in the rain?

Need the rain to get to the rainbow; right?

Purely there for the Historical Value, that's the same excuse I used when I took a group of teenage boys to Key West. Some of them got their picture made in front of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Had a few moms calling me after seeing the pictures and wanted to know more about our itinary.
