So off we go!

Do we get extra points for costume? Mary has a great set of Red Chaps and I'll look really dapper in my cowboy hat, Hiwaii shirt, shorts and cowboy boots! Oh yea I forgot my bow legs!

Extra feature on the Bounder. It is 4 independant 3D holographic projectors that provide an image of ever-shining MH wheels.

I dont need them, but I want them!

I think that would get you something. Not sure what it may be with this group.

Dave I learned from my very first rally to not get to excited about the shine on my wheels, there is always someone that has shinier ones. I'm quite proud of the Dirties Rig Award I came home with!

You will model the "thong" at the GC, right?

Okay! Sorry! Just couldn't resist. It's not like I have fat fingers typing. Or maybe you don't.

I claim the standard excuse, "Darn Spell Correct"!

Not all Motorhomes come with Alcoa's and when I priced them two weeks ago they were going to run me about $2,400 out the door I think. About $360 a piece and similar for each pair of hub covers + tax. So I stayed with the rear wheel inserts and front wheel simulators. They look good and don't effect the ride or livability.

Don't have Alcoa's don't Miss Em. I am mutant hear me roar!

Only reason I priced em was because the tires are being replaced and this would be the time to do it. Price didn't seem worth it to me. If I ever (mutants forbid) need to replace a rim on the road - I can always find a white steel rim and a pair of shiny simulators.

I never noticed the wheels in RV Parks, strange. Think I'll have to start looking more closely. Wait, I can't get up close enough, they all look the same when I'm walking around, so.....

I don't have them and I don't miss them Alcoa things at all. Roar, roar, roar!

I need to trim up the steelies again. I take the inserts out and paint the edge of the white steel rim black. It blends in with the tire and the Rustoleum keeps the rust down - well not visible on that part, at least.

I need to do that too - and not sure when I will get to it. There is some rust on the edges of mine too.

Funny story - my B-Van did come with Aluminum Wheels - and one of my tires kept losing air. Looked for a leak - nothin. When we pulled it and submersed in water, the bubbles were coming from a pin hole in the middle of the wheel itself. I actually found a polished steel wheel that looked identical to the aluminum set at a tire / wheel shop. End of slow leak!
