Herb congrats again, at 8 lb 10 oz I think he's a keeper! Looks like there is plenty of help gathered around Mom (twins I assume). Great looking family!

I know Ginny and Jim will have Abby and Jim has mentioned the rest area near Texarkana before. I think that's where the true/surenuf Texans stop to get their exit visas!

Zip lines in AR

Ok, I heard back from Cindy today and got a little more info. She was not at her appt book so she couldn't tell me which days they will be having zip tours while we're there. She'll get back to me on that.

Here is a review I found

Zip Lines at Ouachita Bend - Hot Springs - Reviews of Zip Lines at Ouachita Bend - TripAdvisor

Another zip line opened a week ago and it is next door to CL. Their website

http://www.adventureworks.com/hotsprings

Maybe if Tim goes back that way he can check them out. I'm game for whichever the group wants to do.

It's not Texas exit visas they need. It's entry permits to get into Arkansas. They're just lucky they can pick theirs up at the border and don't have have a veterinarian signed health certificate like Sena. Or do they?

I don't know if I qualify as serious, but I do like a good cigar now and then. Just had one tonight in front of the outdoor fireplace with a couple of Gin & Tonics.

Oh, but I do know my way around hardware stores...
But engines, motors, nope no thank you...
Thanks. Will have to look at our mileage and travel time to see if that may be a place to overnight our first travel day. Camping World, Pilot and Blue Beacon are good places to stop.

Not that I'll be joining the group, as I'm coming in from the north, but that's a really nice rest area, Don. From the satellite pic there appears to be an RV parking area that is separate from the trucks. Kuddos to AR for thinking about us.

So the reason I ask about the cigars. I have quite a few good ones that need to go into a good room humidifier - to bring em back to smokable. Where I used to buy em - the guy tells me to bring em in - but afraid if I do I will smoke them. They need a week in a good room - and then into a box humidor. I have a box but it is not active. I was thinking I might gift it to someone one day. Perhaps a mutant... It does have a glass top so ya need to keep an eye on it.... At least some of the sticks could travel if a GCer were interested...
