What did they mine out of the Lavender Mine?

Don't say Lavender either!

That should not be a problem. Usually there are extra seats in the cars traveling. I can spin up the taxi meter if you want.

I didn't know if you could totally avoid Saturday (zip line day) for our fishing adventure.

See, no problem Marty. Dianne will get down on all fours and you can step on her back then into the Jeep.

Works for me!

I'm totally committed to smoking 2 Turkeys on Saturday and being on hand for Annie. She has lots of plans for Mardi Gras night. And I nay need a nap before the party.

Plus - Monday or Tuesday fishing may be less crowded. Will just have to see what the guides say...

Stand by...
Steve

Okmunky, count my DW in for the zip lines on Saturday. I guess you guys are still mulling over the number of lines you're going to zip.

Wayne! Don't you know that turkey meat only absorbs all the good for you parts of the smoke, leaving the unhealthy things to go up the vents. All that's left behind is the delicious part.

I was going to ask what size papers you need for turkey smoking.

Sena Saves the Monster

Sena is allowed to leave the RV here to play outside unleashed. She won't run away and this is a controlled environment where nothing is left where she can hurt it, or vice versa.

Today I came into the RV but Sena wanted back out. So I took off her diaper and opened the window for her to go out. She jumps sideways, grabs the awning support arm, climbs it to the roof and then comes down the back ladder.

A few days ago I was pulling weeds and dead plants, putting them into a plastic bag. I made the mistake of laying the bag of weeds down and she stole it and took it to the roof of the coach. Since we are parked inside a garage, I knew the wind wouldn't blow it down. I'm also not confident enough with the new knees to climb the ladder, yet. The weeds got left for another day.

Today, Sena decides to bring the weed bag down from the roof. Of course she spilled most of the weeds out of the now somewhat shredded bag.

All of the sudden I hear her barking, "DANGER, DANGER!!" So I look out the back window and she is jumping up and down in a menacing manner, then looking in the window at me. She does this 4-5 times and then cups her hands on either side of her eyes so she can see inside and check to see if I'm watching.

It was as if she was saying to me, "Mama, or you going to come get this monster, or not?" So, outside I go.

There on top of a box behind the RV is a small lizard, definitely alive, but not running away. It was about 58 degrees so I assume the cold blooded creature was having a hard time making the move so I, the brave protector that I am, take a piece of the bag and reach over to pick the lizard up by it's tail. At that moment the lizard found the energy to run down the box and out of sight.

It seems that the sunny, 70 degree day I was pulling clumps of dead plants up and putting them into the plastic bag, I inadvertently picked up the lizard as well. Had I taken the bag to the dumpster as planned and not allowed Sena steal it, that poor lizard would have ended up in a landfill. So today Sena saved what she thought was a monster from an uncertain fate.
