That's the Redneck way!

Here is a tested way:

I bought some 4" strapping, cut it to about 3' longer on each side of the topper. Folded the ends over to a triangle and put a grommet in the fold. Used some good rope through the grommet, down to a spring and a doggie anchor in the ground. Pass the rope through the end of the spring and fix it so it can be adjusted for tightness. Keeps the thump, thump, thump down and keeps the awning from ripping. A 4" wide strap is a must as just a rope will cut through the topper. Been there, done that (Not the rope cutting through though!)

Sorry to be outa tha loop again, but since we're on the move, I took some pics for y'all. Finally: a CG with trees! (It's an antenna issue with us!)

This is at Wildwood, FL in a KOA that used to be called Turtleback, on Lake Panasofkee. Only one snap 'cuz the wifi has finked out on me suddenly. More tomorrow maybe.

We have indulged in mutantnormus posts of GC related ponders and I know it has caused some to take a break. That's ok cause next time it will be their turn. I have actually reached out by PM and email to some and asked that they just toss us ponder or jump in with a diversionary post. As always - we were not excluding anyone or any topic - some of us were just excited and largely consumed by one in particular...

So any RVMs sitting on the sidelines cause ya can't make it to the GC - jump in here anyway. We miss hearing from you!

And any of you non RVMs - tell us what your RV doesn't have and you don't miss - and declare the Journey is the Destination and you can join this group of mutants as we roam around the RVMdom, riding the rainbow. For more information go to www.rvmutants.com - we'll be here when you're ready!

How's this for a reworked ponderance. We've all seen it but not quite this way.

Hey, I know I'm sometimes real slow but I just now noticed that your signature line promotes the old BBB adage.
