But I love organic peaches! I always hated them plastic ones I used to find in a bowl on the neighbors table..tasted just like the apples and bananas..

Man I miss a couple of days and four pages to catch up to the mutant world. We are a chatty bunch of mutants aren't we?

My dad was a pack master in cub scouts when my little brother was in cubs so you know we did the canvas tent thing for several years and we loved it. There is still something to be said for the smell of coffee on an open fire, roasting marshmallows on a coat hanger or stick. Then I did Indian Guides and Indian Princesses with my sons and daughters and still loved it as an adult. Don't get me wrong I love the mutant coach and its conveniences but I also love being deep in some quiet woods doing the old fashion camping thing too. Guess I will always be a kid at heart in an old wrinkled body!

When we noticed you weren't around - we stopped enrolling new mutants. Still holding at RVM38. Next to join will be RVM39 - who will be next to say - my RV doesn't have this or that but I don't miss it. Who will pledge to make the journey the destination. Don't ponder too long - tell us what ya don't have and don't miss and join the fun.

Welcome back HerbnBarb - hot water?

Thanks Rvm 2 .. Yes the wh works great when you discover where the bypass valve is hidden! Chalk it up to another lesson learned.

Ah, yes. My first uh oh, do I smell something burning in my new RV? Thankfully, WH electric elements are cheap. How many mutants made that mistake in their early days?

DH is so worried he will burn up the electric part of the WH, that he won't use it. So we always use propane.

I mentioned this before when Herb first told of his issue - my bypass is at floor level in the rear closet next to the washer dryer cabinet. It's on our checklist!

Well my fellow mutants. Annie flew to mom and dads today - 27 days of lone wolf mutant flaggship1. Sad. My project - got a new scanner - and going to go through all the pictures and get the digital - sorted to ship to family etc. Not going with us when we go full time.

Depending on how it goes - may try to tackle the music. There are so many things to do before the big journey.

Hey mate. Was reading another thread - you still a POD Person. Going back and forth on what to keep. Sometimes we think we'll follow RVM1s method - find a picker and let it all go. But there are some things....

Yep - no winterizing is a good a thing!!

Yes, never winterizing is grand. Did it only once before we launched headlong into a never ending RVMdom.

Travel note:

Found shade in West Liberty Ohio.
