ATTENTION ALL MUTANTS!

In true mutant spirit I'm am trying to do with less! I removed these lights and am not replacing them with anything, not even LED lights. I figure the best way to save energy is to have less lights.

Any Mutant, or non mutant is welcome to the. They are in good condition, just very ugly!

Dumping your sconces? How will you entertain? ;-)

As long as you dont have rope lights!

Dang! You are a died-in-the-wool RVM.

OH NO...... I'm getting those rope light things as soon as I get out on the road. I couldn't live without them.

Remember when you would install lights inside you wheel wells, and underneath the car, so it would look cool cursing the drive-ins at night? Thats what I'm going to do with the rope lights. Oh yea, and they are good to keep the pack rats away from your underneath at night in the dessert.

Jeez! I only had red lights under the dash! But they were purely functional. They helped me to see that my lovely date....uhhh....had enough popcorn.

I will get rope lights when....uhhh....gotta think about that.

Naw! Rope lights are for...uhhhh...

Talk amongst yourselves. I'm fighting off a Mutation.

Just picture this, you get several hundred feet of rope lights, LED. Get a controller that will change the color, and hook it into a digital receiver. You can install the rope lights completely underneath your Rv, turn up your CD player, and the lights will change color with the beat of the music. Just think what a hit you will be at night with the other folks in the RV park. Make sure to do this after 10pm.

Monster sconces seem to capture the interest of high-line bus conversion people. Not my style, however. We searched for months trying to come up with small tastefully designed sconces. No joy. Had to build my own that were proportionally correct for small spaces.

If you have holes in the wall where your sconces were, are you considering something decorative to cover up the holes?

Next thought now that it was brought up ... Chassis lighting ... Possibly with rope lights? For the freaky night on the dark highway effect, neon chassis lighting is THE thing. Darned spooky to see a car "floating" on light. A few years ago we were heading west on the PA Turnpike very late at night. I could see some odd lights moving slowly up behind in the distance. The closer the lights got, the more I felt it could be extraterrestrial in nature. When the lights floated past us, we saw a small motorcade of hot rods. They all had various colors of neon chassis lighting reflecting on the pavement.

Where else but here on the thread of mutants could something like this fit? This is a link to an eclectic collection of RV styles, and indescribable links.

Take a peek ....

Still don't own any rope lights either. We do own an enclosed canopy so that we can sit outside and enjoy the night skies without too many bugs. I refuse to mutate into a mosquito pin cushion.

Not nearly as mutated as #1 & #2 but paying attention daily.
Best of luck to you on getting the S&B out of the way of your journey. We were very, very, VERY lucky, had a sale contract in 6 days!

When we went F/T, we were already pre-Mutated, but Mutations still abound. We just let it happen.

No rope lights? Good. I hate to be alone!

Enclosed canopy? We are soooo very Mutant.

(How Mutant are you?).

We are so Mutant that we go where it is neither hot nor cold nor bug-laden.

Grew up in MN. Had enough of all of the things mentioned.

Steve and I may be the original RVMs, but everyone Mutates to their own liking, or Mutates away from their dislikes, as it were.

Rocky never Mutates.

Well, Rocky IS older than most dirt.
He doesnt talk about his formative years.
I suspect that Saturday night on the rockpile had interesting times, a few eons ago.
His stare is a bit hypnotic, isnt it?

Rocky may have mutated from a tater. Had a baker the other day that could have been a relative. Rocky was wise to mutate to a flat side. Keeps him from rolling around in travel.

Any idea about his linage Dave? Idaho?

My guess is that Rocky is keeping mum about his country of origin. Seeing as how he slipped across the border without a visa.

He may have descended from the famous Igneous family. They had a reputation for being hot-tempered.

Maybe he's related to Rock Hudson.

Would that make him gay?
