Right on, and you can probably get this neat do-it-yourself beaver stuffing kit.

How about stone beavers? Could be of the same genetic basis as Rocky!

Yeah and besides that, they are young. One on the left is travertine, far younger than Rocky, and Stoney. I suspect the one on the right is a softer material too.

I "otter" have a closer look at these. Methinks somebody is trying to pull a fast one here.

This looks like a perfect place for a diversionary ponder. Unfortunately I got nuthin. Anyone have a good, solid, suitable for mixed company ponder.

Maybe along the lines of why are rope lights so maligned by some and loved by others?

We spent 5 of the last 7 days away from home base. Got back last night and today I tossed an Email at Sue about this coming weekend.

SUE...if you get this...give D&W a call...they have 2 sites left for Friday through Sunday. Site #20 is one of them at the very east end of the main row and about as close to us as you can get to us. A short walk of a few hundred feet. Site #8 is also available but more of a hike and is a pull in, then back out site.

Here is the info on D&W Lake RV CG

Camping in Central, Illinois

We are very happy we found this CG for our current (tied to a J-O-B) status.

Perhaps the proto-type Mutant of all time?

How about dry camping on real grass! Just spent a very nice weekend at a smallish, city park. 30 amp service, no water or sewer at the site but had water and a dump site for when needed. Sooooo quite, except when the crop dusters were buzzing near by fields. I didn't know I could enjoy missing full hook ups so much.

Francis Park - City of Kewanee, Illinois

BTW...Fredrick Francis who donated the house and land for the park was absolutely the most radical MUTANT you wish you could have met. REALLY! Ya gotta read about this guy and if you get a chance, visit this park.

So, should we box up the inanimate mascots and send them to a resort/SPA where they can party, tan and get mani/pedies and then they can be sent back to gloat, brag and reminise?

Or just send them to Sena to play with, maybe dismantle?

Until Mort comes out of his room I think this is on hold. But he'll come around soon enough. Somehow a curiosity of RVM Mascots feels right - but Sparky has never been away from home before. Not sure he's ready.

Hey RVM1 - mind disclosing how much you laid out for those snazzy tire and picture window shades? You can PM if it's embarrassing and the reason ya can't afford rope lights.

You live in one of the states with pack rats. Have you not been following along? : The rope lights keep them away. Perhaps you are thinking of disco balls??

Don't tell me about pack rats. I'm a professional one; a hoarder, but I'm good at it.

Have any disco balls? They would be useful at a mutant curiosity.

Lets just say a whole lot less for a whole lot of quality.

Fred hates it when I dress him up. Rope lights would scare him.
