The thing I forgot to mention about our journey was the tire. Our 5er is only a year old, and the tire just fell apart. Driver side, front axle, and the tread just split from the sidewall. DH found it doing a walk-around at the fuel stop. It mutated and we consider ourselves fortunate that it was discovered before it blew! The timing was not good as it was 5:05pm on Saturday, and no tires available until Monday. Guess we need to think about roadside assistance ins. Umm we had a free 1 year of coach net but since we didn't have an RV for 9 months of that year we never had any reason to use it. So mutants, what company is cost effective?

Hey Dave !!!!

Just a note to let you know, we found a stuffed beaver in Fayette State Park in the UP, so we brought him home. Did you know a large gathering of Beavers is called a Lodge or a Colony, so I think I'll name the coach the lodge, and if I can find some carved stone beavers in Sedona or Camp Verde, well you know I'll buy them as well, I almost pulled the trigger on 4 strands of rope lights but I just couldnt bring myself to do it. Sorry we have been silent for a few days but there was no connectivity where we were, but It is amazing to see how active the mutants have been in the last few days !!! Excellent .....

Cheers !!!!!!!

That is most grand! You were destined to be an RVM. Pics please.

Did you Jeep Red Rock? So many trails in that area, and Prescott too.

So many trails, so little time!

The anti-rope light is strong in you, young Jedi.

PM me if you want to know some good trails out there!

The Beaver Lodge. That works!
Fred is just, well...Fred. And my Wrangler is Red (go ahead, guess his color)

Dave

We havent gotten to Camp Verde yet , but we are on our way. we will land there on the 25th of this month, and yes since we will be there at least 6 weeks i will want to do some jeepin, Ill be sending pics of the mascot and lodge soon and a little one of the jeeper as well, I know I really dont need rope lights .... Friday we are heading for Souix Falls, SD.... and having a blast !!! , why is it that it is so much fun packing up our stuff and heading out to another place we have never been ? Oh and today of all days in this campground there was found and eagles nest in a pine tree way up in the air with not one but two immatures and a very doting set of parents feeding them both, I didnt know a male eagle helps with the feeding of the smaller ones, seems the word amoung the permanent residents here that this particular nest has been active for four years... nature is a wonderful thing.

And to all of you new mutants welcome and well wishes from a new one as well. oh I have to go the DW is pouring me another.

Cheers !!!!!!!!

Hello ToyDuck Don,

My handle PTJeep is a combination from driving a Beaver Patriot Thunder MH and of course the Jeep as well hence, PTJeep, ...... but you could have a PTCJeep of course or some other combination that fits your mode of transportation.

Cheers !!!!
