If and when you have cataract surgery, request multi-focal replacement lenses. I had mine done about 6 years ago. One eye is better at distance and mid-range (computer screen) the other is distance and reading. No glasses needed and I have 15/20 vision.

I confess I don't know about the wineries in the area....not a wine drinker here... But if there wAs a brewery within any reasonable distance that's a different story! Have to refer that one to Tim aka. Huntnski cause he lives about 40 miles from the site. However they do rent pontoon boats by the hour or day for cruising up and down the lake. Barb and I will be doing some of that for sure ourselves. Be happy to split with you and the four of us go exploring to cut the cost if you want. If not, no prob.

Well Bonita Bounders carpet is looking like new - now we have to leave for a few hours. The journey is on again. It may have turned out to be a mutantmiracle that I fell. My rotator cuff and symptoms just keep getting better. But for those of you who have bruised a rib or two - you know it wasn't a free trade. It has slowed us down in our day trips - but I needed the down time. So all is well on that front. And we made good time of it by having Bonita cleaned up inside and out. How great is that!

Onward we journey.

Sounds like a plan to me, and we can always check with others as well. Depending on how big the boat is it may well accommodate 6 or 8 souls. And breweries are good too, you will find that I can find a way to enjoy most things depending on the company I keep, pale ales, and micro brews are always right up there for sippin as well, I do prefer mine chilled though, none of that warm beer flavor for me.

Cheers !!!

Sky-Boss, you could not have said it better. I think of this group like a family -- the evolved family members that don't give unwanted advice, try to change you, or expect to be mentioned in the will.

Now that we have become a group of such high esteem and vast numbers, I think we should consider endorsing mutant minded business concerns. No doubt having the RVM seal of approval will soon become every company's pinnacle of acceptance. As our first mutant approved business, I would like to propose that we adopt Flying Monkey Airlines as the official RVM airline. What other airline has non-stop flights over the Rainbow? What say ye?

It's like deja vue all over again. Somehow I think we all let this go by once. I hereby second the nomination.
