No way is that umbrella big enough and it would also need helium.

No, that is the cone of challenge. She's 80 pounds and when she is walking around she knocks into things. Fortunately it "gives." She is able to lie down, etc., However, jumping is funny when she gets the bottom caught on the way up. She's a good pup.

Well I'll be. I had wondered where this picture went to and I finally found it on my camera.

It's the real picture of Herb.

I took Sadie in to have a cyst removed and they sent her home with "The cone". I carried her inside and when I put her down, she just stood there with a pathetic look on her face, like she was being punished. Immediately took it off and all she did was occasionally lick the drain tube.

That's mean... to laugh at her. Bad Wayne.

First nomination for the RV Mutant's theme song has got to be Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Second nomination...supercalfragiliticexpialidocious?

Jeff, your tribute to your dad was touching.

G'night, mutants!

The first time I put the cone of shame on Gunny I nearly cried. He was so disoriented with it and it just seemed like he thought he was in big trouble. Took it off immediately and just kept a good eye on him for a couple of days.

Thor...on the other had...we had to put a metal muzzle on him because of major foot surgery. He could get around the E-collar without a problem and was heavily licking his back left foot. He would use that muzzle like a freakin' battering ram. Sandee had lots of leg bruises to show for that.

A few theme song nominations...

Traveling Willburys - At the End of the Line

Willie Nelson - On the Road Again

Rascal Flat - Life is a Highway

Tom Petty - Runnin' Down a Dream

I could toss in the suggestion AC/DC Highway to Hell. LOL

Sounds just like Sadie and I did the same, except crying. Vet left a 4" long drain tube. I cut 3" off and he didn't say anything at the follow-up visit.
