Correct, and I'll wear either label!

Once got a certificate for Expense Control, boss made a few wise cracks in front of my crew, Never even got close to such honors the following years! Every meeting was a restaurant event expense was no problem.

Guess I'll have to pull my daughter out of school to GC 2015! Sorry, not likely for me. She's an honour student and I don't mess with her hard work. Maybe us Canucks will have to set up a Canadian Chapter and have our own GC.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound sour. I still work and have a child in school.

I only gave certain times I can take off and it's not unlimited.

My issue....no one else's!

21" Monitor . I survive with my 14" laptop and 7" Kindle Fire HD....

That's the way I stumble...

Les - you will notice my first post on this topic today mentioned those with kids in school - or at least it was suppose to. Been a long day. No telling what it actually said.

Now about that Northern Contingent. Shoot me a PM if interested. Don (the Duck) RVM legal counsel and I just finished up the Mutant Franchise contract and rate sheet. We got ya covered brother.

I really don't remember how we settled on April this time around, but it's not a requirement in my mind. Weather, check. Facilities, check. Sena friendly, check. Closer to our Canadian mutants, check.

Thanks Barb and all mutants for throwing aside or tendency to wing it. A little planning and prep and we'll avoid problems down the road.

No worries. I printed it out - rolled it up - and swatted it against my hand in a PM to you just this minute.

Les, just curious, how far south have you traveled before? (RVing)

South Dakota is my most northern travel while RVing.

Stephanie is gung-ho for the black hills so she can go to Walls Drug. It would be nice if this 2015 GC was just a few days before Folklarama in Winnipeg. This is the best and largest multi-culture festivale in North America. We could have a second mini GC in Canada.

Just food for thought.

South Dakota isn't exactly cool end of July beginning of August....just saying. Wonder if people with school aged kids schedules would coincide over a spring break.....But March might be a tad cool or even snowy for outside fun....just depends on the year...it could be perfect.

That is great to hear. Shh but don't tell anyone that DW and I just love the Wall experience. I'm sure we could find a campground in the area for party central location and there are some really funtastic tourist type things within a medium drive of Spearfish. Their campground is beautiful and I am sure would hold enough people for our group activities.

Hey, SD is my domicile. I'm good with that. And by 2015 I should be able to run on my new knees and I can walk the entire way around Mt Rushmore National Park. I felt cheated that I could only see half of it in 2011.

Yellowstone is not far from there for those on extended leave, and Badlands NP isn't far if you're headed east. I do want to make this doable for our Canadian mutants. Maybe they can suggest somewhere that is within their comfort range on this side of the border.

I do think that since we will be planning a high season Grand Curiosity, we should nail down a location by January so we can reserve enough space. No telling how many mutants we'll have by then. I saw 9 guests were reading our little thread at 9:15 Pacific time last night. Either we at attract night owls or West Coasters.

Just saw the City of New Orleans contest. To late to win, but I joined the Navy in 1969, went to boot camp in Great Lakes, and on completing it road the City back home. It passed right thru my home town (Anna-Jonesboro, Il). It's one of my fondest memories, and I can still know every word. Can't sing a note, but I'll try on that song. Thanks for the memories.
