Ailing Norcold

PT --

Assuming you are operating on 120V for the heaters...

Check resistance on the heater(s) -- Should read some low ohm resistance (in the order of 20-60ohms if my memory serves me right)

If a heater is shorted (0 ohms) it would blow a fuse / trip a breaker
If the reading is infinite, it means the heater is bad and need replacement

If the fridge has 2 heaters and 1 is not working, there wouldn't be enough heat for the adsorption process to work efficient enough to cool the fridge, but it would be enough to make the tubing feel cool to the touch

Another thought -- Level???? (Dumb questions are the ones not asked!)

Mine can be ~5 degrees off level and work similar to what you are describing

If not doing or untried, switch over to propane and see if the cooling occurs as normal -- Another indicator of a possible bad electric heater

You could always travel North and use Mother Nature to keep thing cold -- Teens and low 20's here all day with a biting wind giving us single digit Wind Chill -- Also 4+ Inches of snow......

Good Luck -- Hope you aren't looking at having to perform major surgery on it...

What are the dates of summer vacation for school kids? Our Gkids have 3 week differences in the start of vaca in different districts. So I definitely wouldn't dare to guess what the Canadian school schedule is.
April is hard for us as we need to seek and find the mighty Morel.
Ducks have down to keep them warm, similar to the comforter on our bed.
Is your Norcold self defrosting?
Hey Judy,

No it isnt

Maybe a Mutant brain fart, but it might go in to gas/limp mode if you disconnect 120V. Then it runs on 12V and gas.

Les and Possum, is the Grey Cup one of those big deals, like the Stanley Cup in Hockey? Or just what you put your brewski in?

It is the oldest professional footbal trophy game on the planet. The Green just won the one hundred and oneth game.

In Canada it was a much bigger deal but now we have cable and everyone thinks the silly game youse guys down south play is the big deal.

Well, we managed to reach escape velocity from the "center of the universe" AKA Toronto, but it took a while! Still glad we traded black snow and pollution for clean snow and fresh air up here, (and the mayor of our township is not crazier than a bedbug, like the current Toronto incumbent!)

Ok, another dumb girl question -- is it like what we call football, or what we call soccer?

Actuall it was at one time the same game and copied from Canadian game. We have fewer downs, wider field, deeper end zones and our field is 110 yards instead of 100as is yours.

Hello second in command. I was wondering if I could get permission to fool with the logos to make vehicle markers for the sole and private use of mutants?
