Still no power. Just got phone recharged.
Restaurants are open in town. And most the power is on around town.

Chicago, dontcha know. The REAL inner city, too...good mutant material there!
I loved my stay in Chicago. I went back many moons later and wanted to take my DW to Riverside Amusement Park. You really can't go home can you?

It took DW and I about 3 to start getting the months confused. Now we've improved to screwing up the days too.

I was scheduled for a CT scam for the 6th. I chewed the Dr's office out for not getting a call from scan company before the 6th. It's 1/6/14. Duh!

Hit the send button to quick. Most of Paris has power. But not us, glad we have gas fireplace. Talk is that a power station about a quarter mile from us is down. Coming up on 39 hours now with no power.

No...you can't! I try once in awhile, and pretend I'm a tourist!

Yikes!
That's cold!
We're getting freezing temps here already at night. ...that usually doesn't happen for a month yet.

Are you able to keep your tanks and stuff from freezing?

Every researcher who has investigated the expression has dismissed an Indian connection as untrue. The tale is widely reproduced and believed nevertheless.
But if the supposed letter was ever written, it doesn’t now exist in any archive that any researcher has so far found (his letters have been published, if anybody would like to check). World Wide Words

Ain't life good in the South!
No gas fireplace here, but Mary keeps the logs loaded pretty good!

NO NO NO!

Moving the MH from place to place is the preferred method to avoid/unfreeze a MH. LOL
