Inner Strength

There are times like these

you could drop to your knees,

as you wonder how much you can take.

But as some people know

with their troubles in tow,

there is always a choice
 they can make.

To drown in our sorrows,

saps up our tomorrows,

and makes everything in our lives
 seem bleak.

So, just count your blessings

and not your misgivings,

and somehow you'll not feel so weak.

Just change what you can,

put the rest on a shelf,

and keep misery at an arm's length.

For it's the wealth of those

who can conquer their woes,

that's the secret to "Inner Strength!"
Well said...

Wow Barb, excellently said~!

Can you scan from the scanner to the computer via USB cable using the printers menu? That's all I could get working with the HP I had. Very frustrating.

Wow! Not even a whole day away and this thread goes nuts! Entertainingly so, however.

So, 8AM we are all set to roll except for the water. I went to unhook at the pedestal and the PVC broke as I started to twist the fittting off of the nozzle, and I got a huge shower. Panic, get maint man, all okay! It is somewhat common for the plastic to age quickly in the sun and scare some guests.

Changed clothes, shorts not soiled. (?)

Now, home again, in Yuma, for the first time. ;-)

Dave and Steve I am impressed at your choice of the rainbow for our theme place to be as it is so inclusive of everyone. One of the finest attributes of our mutant clan is the inclusiveness of all toward one and all.

DW and I thank you for that.

We have encouraged a couple to read all the posts and then join when they buy the RV they are looking for at present. Nothing in the world can explain open minded rednecks.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Capuchin monkeys don't swim, so I imagine instinct tells them standing water will drown them. Macaques, from Asia, are great swimmers. Plus there are caiman and piraña in the waters where her ancestors are from in South America. Sena is from Missouri, but she doesn't seem to remember.

She's also terrified of big black dogs, as are most capuchins. My theory on that is that the black panther is a major preditor in the Amazon Rain forest. Oh, and the vacuum cleaner hose is an Anaconda that she tries to kill whenever it comes out of it's cabinet.

The hot water is because her body temp is 2-3 degrees higher than ours and what's warm to me is chilly for her.

Open minded rednecks are my favorite kind of rednecks!

I, too, appreciate the inclusiveness of the
Mutants!

Alright, this is weird. All of a sudden, it scans from the printer to the Dell desktop and from the desktop SW. It gives me a choice of connections. network or USB. I've been fighting this since the 12th. Don't know if it will do any good, but I'm going to set a restore point.

I still get this intermittent pop up of this:

"Scan to the computer no longer activated"
"The network connection to the printer has been lost"

It has never scanned to the desktop before, even with the USB cable connected. The only thing different is that Win 7 did 143 upgrades. Maybe it loaded some new drivers.

I'm going to re-boot and see if it still works. Gotta reboot sometime. Wish me luck.

BTW, I can scan to/from and two my laptops. It's not that I scan that often, but I paid for that ability.

Maybe I don't need a new computer to read about mutants and send or receive email and do research.

I now can't print to my older reliable Deskjet 895Cse. I've used and re-used a lot of paper testing this thing.

Thanks.

I like to think that RVMs to not INclude, so to speak. It is that we do not EXclude. A simple thing for us, not so for others.

The Rainbow is what anyone WANTS it to be, and is a bit different for each.

RV Mutantism is based on very minimal requirements. And that...is...simply...it!

Dennis - I don't know what to say, other than you're welcome. And of course that thing about a blind squirrel.

The rainbow was there from post number 1.
