Everything we need to solve any problem is right there, but we must pay attention, as none of it comes with a tag that reads, "Here is the solution to the problem you now face."

In that same vein, I know the people we stumble into are never by accident. For everyone, irregardless of how grand or meager their life may seem, is here to teach us something vitally important.

This group is one of the best examples of my beliefs working as they should. We are here for you, my friend, as you are for us. I hope the current issues ease and the light of peace shines on your family soon.

Hey Barb,

X2 on your post, I couldnt agree more. The beauty of what you are talking about though goes even farther, especially when it comes to friends, simply because there is really no reason to lose touch with friends, but, it is like anything that needs nurture and care. If you dont cultivate your friendships and work at keeping them then you will lose them, so I am thankful for the wonderfully mutated devices that we can use to keep us in contact with friends and family.

So to my wonderfully curious mutated family thank you for all of your friendship and support.

Now onward and upward, after I replaced that crazy footpedal valve on Saturday, the water pressure and flow was so much better than what I had before and it was working as new. In fact it was working so well that the vacuum breaker valve decided that it was time for it to begin leaking as well..... ..... So a towel and bowl had to be put to use to get us to Monday, so I could go back to the parts store and buy yet another valve, the sales lady asked me if I didnt think it would be a good idea just to replace the whole thing and I told her the porcelain was just fine and not cracked.

So today we will go out and do some Christmas shopping and shipping and hopefully everything will reach its destination on time.

You all are hard to keep up with when I cannot check in on you every couple of hours, but, .....keep up the musings and postings ..... someday we may well be able to write a book, or at least be the subject of a reality show.

Cheers !!!

In the part of Michigan where we hunt, these guys are really hard to find. The place I hunt is 120 acres for just 2 of us and just across the road, is 4000 acres of state land thats all wilderness.

Cheers !!!

P.S. Notice his left brow tine is broke ..... this one was a fighter as well .... he is going to make some fantastic burgers for cookouts this coming June .... yeee haaaa

Never, ever, not even for $1 billion would I wish that on this group of my friends. Don't you read the covers of those rag magazines while standing in the checkout lines? Reality "stars" committing suicide, going to jail for fraud, fighting, backstabbing,,, All that the producers want to air is the dirty laundry, strife and witchy angry BS.

Besides, this group is about peace, fun, and no exclusions. TV viewers don't want to see that without big name personalites in the starring roles. Now a comedy sitcom based on RVMdom? That I could see.

I agree Barb.......we would make a great sitcom. Here is an episode for ya. I arrived home last nite to find the sliding bedroom door on Jenny was dragging on the floor and hanging all cockeyed so I asked DW what happened and she explained it this way: Molly our 7 month old Lab and Abbey our 2 y/o Lab were playing. Abbey between the pilot and co-pilot chairs and Molly running up and down the coach to the bedroom then jumping on the bed barking for Abbey to chase her. Now Abbey being smart enough to realize she doesn't have to chase her just stands at the front barking at her. 45lb. Molly takes a running jump off the bed missing her mark and slams into the partially opened bedroom sliding door breaking it off the sliding tracks completely.

Now I get to figure out how I'm going to get that door pulled out and get to the concealed slide tracks to repair the door so it will work properly. Since it slides in the wall next to the fridge, I'm thinking the fridge will have to come out to repair the damage. Meanwhile, as I'm surveying the damage Molly is jumping up and down wanting me to play with her. Little does she know what I would like to do to her! Lol of course then Barb's wrath would rain down on me as she is saying, "she is just a puppy, and it can be fixed." My reply....then fix it! (Yeah right.)

Herb's going to have a great Tuesday. I'm really glad both my fur kids are in the 8 pound range. they do enough damage as it is. But Herb, what would life be without them? Have fun!

Hahahaha Barb,

So true, but remember Seinfeld was a show about nothing .... I wouldnt be a good candidate for such exposure cause sometimes I tend to expound on what I think and that isnt always a good thing.

But can you imagine what the other people of a park would think if ya pulled up with a sound and video crew in tow. If it were me I bet no one would ever speak to me again. But I can almost guarantee you there would be some segment of people that would watch it, which to me is scary.

I am really looking forward to the GC@CL so I can meet the rest of you that are going to be able to make it face to face, I think that will be the major highlight of the year for me. And who knows where following curiosities will be planned. Thankfully being that Marcia and I are retired, we can pretty much go wherever and whenever they take place. I have yet to reach the Northwet, anything north and west of Ft. Laramie, Wyoming I havent explored yet, I havent been to the Northeast either, well wait we went to Massachusetts in 1985 but havent been back yet, Ive never been to Washington D.C. yet either or the Shenandoah Valley. Georgia only to drive through it, Arkansas will be a first also.

I really need to find one of those maps of the U.S to put on the coach and then fill in the states as I finally get there, so I can proudly say, the Journey is the Destination.

Cheers !!!!!

Now you may discuss this amongst yourselves .....

That's me: predictable...to a point! And funny "odd woman out" is a given! Mutant material from the get-go.

Tell ya whut: Send me some of that puppy fur and I'll test it fer ye. Don't put it in plastic, though. Paper, please!

I've seen sweaters made from Newfies blown undercoat and they look like angora. Prolly why it's called chiengora.

"Better the fur
from a dog you know,
Than fleece from a sheep
you'll never meet!"

Cheers!

For a long time people thought the D-Vees were nutz, the girls all wore skirfishes instead of the normal kerchiefs. My younger sister sure had a problem pronunciating that one.
